It's obvious Bada is supposed to be part of the whole ritual with the community, especially since his NPC at the beginning of the game is the one who is supposed to pretty much send the players to their trap, so maybe he's either the killer, or one of the master minds regarding the rituals/killings
I especially think this because the NPC tried to kill him many times before, and since it seems like this NPC is supposed to be "of help" to the players, then he sees something bad or wrong in Bada being near or with them
