The art ist so amazingly pretty and the world and characters are quite intriguing. So I did enjoy the start a lot (plus the sex scenes are so hot?!). But honestly speaking there is almost no chemistry between the leads and it’s this typical ml just got obsessed with the mc for story building. Like to me as a viewer I can’t comprehend why the ml got so obsessed. On the mc sides I just seems like he… gave up?? Faced with no other choice, but to yield to the ml he wielded. That isn’t romantic or something I would fantasize about lol. I guess one could argue that the ml is a realistic psychopath and just a domineering forceful man, so it does make sense ig. But that doesn’t make it fun or aspiring. It’s essentially a horror story that started with quite brutal rape (although it was portrayed realistically with the Mc dislike from that etc) and ended with a “love” build on force, oppression and obsession. I did drop reading so idk how it continues to develop, but there is no real turning back from what already happens - especially with the forceful impregnating.
I would still honestly recommend the story, because it has some nice elements to it (the steamy sex!!!), but imo it’s not really a good story. Or maybe it’s just not my cup of tea hahah
I read through all of this in one sitting and am positively OBSSESSED !!! But all the foreshadowing is giving me mayor anxiety ahhh I rlly hope our leads get a sweet ending ;-; I feel like the female lead will face some type of tragic ending .. probably falling asleep for a looong time with the male lead having to wait for her for centuries or smth???? I’m picturing worst case scenarios ahhh if anyone knows any spoilers I would be super grateful
