I read through everything and had fun with it, but it kinda lost me halfway through. At some point the Mc and the ml didn’t make that much sense to me in terms of their actions/ feelings? The Mc was very clear on not wanting to sleep with the ml and disliking his attraction to him etc and then suddenly after fighting of the coyotes he’s asking the ml if he would sleep with him?
In the same way the change on the side of the ml doesn’t rlly make a lot of sense to me? Just because the Mc did not force himself on the ml (or tried to) he is now suddenly someone the ml feels comfortable with? Idk it just lost some incongruity imo, which made it less appealing.
I feel like the switch between the leads being strangers/not on good terms to them becoming lovers wasn’t that well executed. It felt like quite a sudden switch. The Mc should have needed way longer to develop feelings … considering how horrendous the ml was. Him being pretty really shouldn’t excuse that much. And the ml should have also needed way more reassurance/ time, with all of his trauma etc.
I would give it a 7/10 - comparable to a decent warm dish that you eat, when you’re hungry. It fill you up, does the job and tastes quite good in the beginning, but the more you eat the blander the taste gets.
Can anybody give me their rating for this story? Like it is good? I’m normally not obsessed with harem/ three way relationships - is this one of those ??
The rating threw me off big time - to anyone reading this start this!! It’s absolute peak! The writing is so well executed, the characters actually have depth and complexity and as a cherry on top the art style is just stunning!
I love how the characters actually change outfits and hair styles frequently (a runway show!!) and the ml is crazy - yes - but his craziness makes sense. With all of his experiences and the environment he grew up in, it makes sense. Most importantly he isn’t unnecessarily cruel; actually he got quite soft with the Mc real quickly into the story.
This is also one of the very rare scenes, where his attraction to her (and hers towards him) makes sense to me as a viewer! It’s not “oh he saw her - she’s pretty and boom now he’s Romeo lost in love/obsession”. The development of his interest at first to like and then (hopefully soon) to love/ obsession is build up logically at a very nice pacing.
I gotta stop myself cause I could just ramble on forever - in total this is a 10/10 my lads
I gasped loudly at the ml WOOF WOOF!! Ml who can’t control themselves are sooooo hot urgh way better than those stoic men that barely show any facial expression
I get that many ppl are frustrated with the political situation and the Mc not being able to change it directly, BUT just killing everyone bad is not the way to go. It already got explained that the country practically got split in many pieces after the crown prince died, because the nobles tore everything apart. Killing everyone kn the noble fraction plus the crown prince can’t be done and most importantly it can’t be done that openly.
The opinion of the common folk also has to be taken into consideration. A revolution is only successful if it leads to a permanent change. And that permanent change will certainly not be accomplished through a blood bath and pure violent force.
I think the female mc is really charming and a head strong woman. I really like and admire her. The art is beautiful and the world building really interesting so it’s a 5/5 for me!
It’s really frustrating how the leads just get tossed around by the people in power (aka the crown prince), but that just going to make the face slapping and saving the country/ revolution so much more satisfying!
I don’t rlly understand the ogfl intentions and plan, but at the end of the day she’s just a side character so who cares? Our Mc ist great !
It’s the typical case of the ml only being decent (or hot/great), because he’s drawn to be super handsome. If he wasn’t he would lose almost all his appeal.
It just sucks that we can’t get a more healthy relationship/ healthy ml with this great artstyle ahhhh.
On another note I feel like there is such a surge of this type of dog blood drama ?? Anyone feels the same way? Where the ml is absolute shit and then the whole story revolves around how the regressed fmc reconciles with him and the whole him yearning for her/ groveling for forgiveness arc. Imo at some point there is just too much hurt and it would be way better to find someone new. The only story that I know where that trope was used really well was “Remarried Empress”. And in that novel she literally does NOT get together with the ml again and the groveling is done (with said satisfaction for the readers), but the fmc finds a new amazing man instead of suffering through the same bs with the ogml. (Read it if you haven’t yet guys!!)
The art ist so amazingly pretty and the world and characters are quite intriguing. So I did enjoy the start a lot (plus the sex scenes are so hot?!). But honestly speaking there is almost no chemistry between the leads and it’s this typical ml just got obsessed with the mc for story building. Like to me as a viewer I can’t comprehend why the ml got so obsessed. On the mc sides I just seems like he… gave up?? Faced with no other choice, but to yield to the ml he wielded. That isn’t romantic or something I would fantasize about lol. I guess one could argue that the ml is a realistic psychopath and just a domineering forceful man, so it does make sense ig. But that doesn’t make it fun or aspiring. It’s essentially a horror story that started with quite brutal rape (although it was portrayed realistically with the Mc dislike from that etc) and ended with a “love” build on force, oppression and obsession. I did drop reading so idk how it continues to develop, but there is no real turning back from what already happens - especially with the forceful impregnating.
I would still honestly recommend the story, because it has some nice elements to it (the steamy sex!!!), but imo it’s not really a good story. Or maybe it’s just not my cup of tea hahah
I read through all of this in one sitting and am positively OBSSESSED !!! But all the foreshadowing is giving me mayor anxiety ahhh I rlly hope our leads get a sweet ending ;-; I feel like the female lead will face some type of tragic ending .. probably falling asleep for a looong time with the male lead having to wait for her for centuries or smth???? I’m picturing worst case scenarios ahhh if anyone knows any spoilers I would be super grateful
I’ve been feeling so empty and depressed ever since the last chapter got updated … I would give my firstborn for this story to continue - I’m not even exaggerating
I let this marinate and come back every now and then to see where the newest chapter is at and ….. the plot is just not plotting ?? Like it’s just rinse and repeat of her getting the right skill and just perfectly saving everyone - it’s just not fun anymore ? Does anyone still see worth in continuing to read this? I feel like this is very clearly a whack story
Preferences do exist so take my opinion with a grain of salt but personally I think rough sex is overrated - like what happens to sensual and passionate? Besides the fact that the ml deserves to die a painful slow death and this is obviously super rapey even if it wasn’t I wouldn’t find this hot. Too much stimulation imo just ends up feeling really painful and squirting (which is if comparable to him peeing himself) is a really intense experience, which should be approached with care. I also hate that the mc saying stuff like “no”, “stop” and “it’s too much” is being normalised- like it really shouldn’t. Never have I ever staid stop during sex and when I do I f mean it and my partner has always instantly stopped ! It’s not “great sex” because the mc was so overstimulated that he passed out and constantly begged the ml to stop - it’s f horrible rapey sex and probably just felt like a world of pain to the mc (which is why he was begging him to stop!!!!). With that being said I’m going to drop this manga and give it a juicy 1-star rating. No hate if you like this to each their own but yeah for me it’s just sadly another shitty rapey yaoi :/
I read some spoilers ahead of time and have just been skipping through the chapters and marveling at the art like I’m at a prestige museum lol. Swear to god this art style with an actual decent story ? Would pay a good chunk for that on god.
On another note just wanna say that I’m just kinda sick and tired of every yaoi having to have rape and other evil psychopath bullshit in it. If that tickles your Pringles that’s great but why does it feel like EVERY yaoi has that? I just want mutual respects between leads I feel scammed
