One thing here on mangago ill never get used to is the fake update bamboozle like, ion know if its just me, but i get a lot of these fake updates and then when the update is real i dont check cause i just assume its another fake :’)

To all you ppl who read a manga and then rant like chicken with no head about the heavy content or storyline of the manga, WHY do you even read it in the first place then? Ya’ll know that tags and summary exist right? If you are triggered and/or uncomfortable with themes such as ra*e, dubcon, etc then please check the tags before reading the manga (and if youre dumb enough not to check then there is always warnings given at the starting of a manga if it contains such heavy material) cause if you gon read then later on dont complain about it yeah? Blatantly shitting on the author for writing these types of stories is wrong, like hunny, why are you over here on mangago then? Remember these mangas are a work of fiction, please learn to differentiate between reality and fiction or dont read the mangas, its that simple, dont go saying crap about the author’s work cause they spent time and effort making it bruh, how hard is it to read the tags??

The one i forgot has the element of the seme beinf a jerk and cheating on uke with a woman but then realising he loves the uke alot and going to find the uke but thank you for the help
Basically the only thing i remember is, the seme and uke are in a relation but uke then wants to break up even though he loves the seme and the seme knows about it. So when uke talks about breaking up, seme gets angry and proposes that they have sex one last time, the uke agrees but after the first round, seme stops the uke and says that he brought a new condom pack so they are going to finish it.

Hey guys, so i was thinking that for the past few days something 'other' than the copyrights issue is also happening, i don't know if it is my imagination or what but i think the updating system of all mangas has kinda slowed down? Let me know if its just my imagination or is this really happening?
don't know about other genres but I have never seen that yaoi and shounen ai have no update for 20 hour.and it's almost 5 year since I'm in this web.
If you mean the time from submitting a notification for a manga that there's a new update to when it shows up on the site, no, it's actually been better. Hell, it's been faster than MRM for our group's last few releases.
You gotta consider the times. As scanlation teams get older, the members themselves might be busier with life situations.
Scanlation groups are bunch of people who translate the manga you read despite their busy RL schedule. They're not robots who needs to update every week.
Learn to be patient and stop complaining because updates are slow.
I don't think she/he is complaining nor blaming the scan group for slow update.. More like wondering or worried if anything
Im actually not talking about scanlation groups, im talking about mangago's updates cause on sites like myreadingmanga and few other there is a faster upadte rate than mangago so that is what i was asking about.....im not telling scanlation groups to work faster or abandon their 'REAL LIFE SITUATIONS'. I undetstand their hardships and actually get it so, i guess it was just my imagination that the update system has been slow...thank you guys.

The thing is i have alot of 'ongoing' mangas and before this week there used to alot of updates and im kinda worried that like the copyright issues with manhwas, the normals ones are also getting into the storm of getting out of reach
I did know that the notification time and real update time on mangago is not quite balanced but i dont really mind it that much and its good that its getting better
If you're talking about how quickly the updates come, it varies. Some comics were updated faster than usual. Maybe others were slower from your experience? For example, Unriped Expression got updated the day the scan group updated. From the past few chapters, it normally updated days after.
In general, Mangago has problems. The site says that it's still under beta, but not sure if the staff is even interested in fixing the problems such as, but not limited to...
1. Notifications not actually coming right as new chapters come out.
2. People experiencing problems with logging in (CAPTCHA, email not working or suddenly disappeared, etc.)
3. No official word, announcements from the site staff and management about addressing problems or anything regarding the site for that matter.
They seem really indifferent except for when people are actually suing the site.
I think all of the above mentioned problems are things i have experianced but i cant seem to find any better sites, (I'm hoping for some help here) So pointing out the same issue again will be fruitless...
In terms of updates, I use Baka-Updates Manga. It's not a reading site, but it tells me when comics that I add into my list gets updated. And then I just go search for them in the scanlator's websites. Scan teams might have their own reader or they just give the download link. It seems tedious at first to search for everything, but you get used to it. The site is mostly real-time updates since scan teams are the ones informing the site, so it's nice.
Maybe ill try that but the phone i use does not allow me to download the types of manga files so im in a very tight spot Mangago please have some mercy
Does not allow or just that you cannot open them? If you can't, you can download apps that unzip files because the actual pages are either png or jpeg files, which you phone should be able to read.

Oh, yeah. That is a problem too. Maybe it goes both ways? It could be the site malfunctioning or the chapter was a repeat and was taken down. The notification system recognizes that something is uploaded, not deleted, it seems like.
as far as i could remember mangago has always been in the late side of updates. they like to collate updates and pour it in one go instead of staggered update.
Not my experience, as someone who frequently uploads things here. It seems to be more about the time of day. If I upload one of our group's updates in the morning (CST), it's usually on the site within a few hours (less than 6). If it's afternoon or evening for me, sometimes it won't be up until much later, more in the 12-16 hour delay range.
And the user notifications about manga updates only go out once per day. It's usually around 5 or 6 am in my time zone. Replies to comments and such are within minutes.
mangago notifications... that's what i'm talking about. sure, the user can check the latest uploads by ordering "update date" in the tabs (i mean i do that myself and also by checking that left table) but you are ONLY going to be notified by the system once or twice a day. so. collate. once a day notice.

Same thing happened to "Save Me" for the same reason. Appears that all of the chapters have been deleted because the ones uploaded were official Lezhin translations. Only fan-made ones are allowed. Although I think WBW had a mixture of fan-made translations.
If you really want to read it, you just have to go to other sites. Or, purchase chapters yourself.
