There was no official statement
It was just other people spreading what they were told in emails
I've seen multiple people corroborate this

I don’t know if it’s official but i saw a whole thread of someone explaining what happened this info included, at first ppl were saying we will get everything back but I guess it’s not possible

Thing is even the stuff i rated my reviews of them r gone

Unfortunately, the disk containing lists information crashed so we're not getting all of it back

for your other reply, we don't know if the devs are still recovering stuff because it's radio silence
