thank evangel hajin doesn't end up with any of his classmates.
yes I'm against hajin and any of his cube cadets. he's an adult and the other cadets are kids
was about to drop because i thought the FL will be nayoon. she's annoying. though not her fault she's a tsundere. the author made her a that way.
the one saving grace in this is evangel. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~ she's so cute. they should have increased the screentime of hajin and evangel's interactions (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ . instead of the potential love interests ( ̄ε(# ̄)Σ
is it just me?
this manhwa is a chore to read.
compared to other martial arts manhwas this takes effort just to get through a chapter.
Personally, it felt like a chore to me thanks to how the writing uses "slow-burn" methods to drag the plot out.
The romance, the camaraderie, all those things would've been great if not for how it felt like I'm reading a book about a dude looking for his brother while surrounded by wild monkeys.
I'll leave this to marinate until the final chapter for now.
MC didn't end up with Tang Shuo. I'm glad to have skipped the latter parts.
I know it's on me. I should've stopped reading when I saw how he wouldn't leave the ML despite being abused by him. So it shouldn't have been a surprise that he'd end up back with his ex-husband. What's the point of divorcing when they'd end up together again.
Yes, it's an open-ended ending, not explicitly shown that they're together. But it's obvious that their relationship was good. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
authors or creators really should stop romanticizing abuse. because it gives the message that whatever the ML is doing can be excused because he's handsome, rich, powerful and because he "loves" the FL
i don't disagree w you, for me i also do not like the romanticising of abuse but its "not your usual manhwa" where everything's idealized but it actually does show the reality of how it was in the past or some peoples life's rn. i mean knowing that this is fiction it will eventually get better but it's crucial. Some people relate to it in different aspects and ig i find beauty in that if you see it in a different perspective.
When I posted this ^^^, I honestly just needed to get the frustration off my chest because I got triggered by readers on another platform worshipping Matthias while completely vilifying Claudine. The double standards, I swear. ML gets excused, but the villainess is never forgiven. And disclaimer: I didn’t even go looking for that fandom — it found me.
I actually don’t mind trashy, scummy, red-flag behavior in fiction as long as the other party (whether it’s the FL or MMC) isn’t completely pitiful and can actually fight back. But here, there’s such a huge power imbalance between the ML and FL in every aspect that it just pisses me off.
And yeah, I know people always say, “If you hate it so much, why do you keep coming back to it? Just stop reading.”
I already don’t engage with this series or anything similar anymore because this thing genuinely raises my blood pressure! ヽ(`Д´)ノ
I’m also just not capable of accepting the Matthias worship. But obviously people will always like what they like, so I chose to stay away instead. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Is Kaiser's red eye liner natural? Or does he like apply makeup to get that red in the outer corner of his eyes? I was thinking that part of his morning routine before he goes out to train, he's painting his eyes with smudge proof oil proof graphic liner just to level up his aura
"To level up his aura" lol
I'm pretty sure it was said it was a tattoo.
Yeah, it's a tattoo. I heard that he tattooed it on to replicate the red eyeliner his mother once wore. It also fits with his German Emperor aesthetic
thanks for the info! must've missed that since i've only been skimming the manga
