It feels like the male lead thinks the mc exists just for him and isn't his own person which is ick and the other dude....idek I liked him but now he's saying theyvwere never friends idek what's going on with him.

that's...kind of the point. dohun is deranged and obsessed atp, and it's pretty clear seongmin is the same, both of them are going to hurt yuwon in the end bc they don't care about his wellbeing as a person. that's the message of this story; none of the characters experience love and therefore develop twisted views on it; it's only going to be a catastrophe in the end. it's psychological horror for a reason.

yes, the ml is incapable of 'normal' love because he was never properly socialized. i do believe he genuinely thinks he's doing the best for yuwon, and he loves him in his own twisted way, but it only harms and traps yuwon in the end. it's like asking a person who was never taught to speak to give a presentation.
