This story is more mature than many BLs. And it shows in how readers grumble about the ending.

It seems they don't understand how messed up Ian's life was. And not really because of TJ, but because of himself, growing up in a gangster environment. And eventually, TJ too, by entering the same world. They were both hurting each other, but despite everything, they found a way to move forward, leaving part of the past behind. And even so, as I said in the last chapter, it takes time to adapt to such a different life. It took Ian years, and TJ is going through the same process.

Joseph was just a good kid who ended up in the wrong place. His life was already stable and beautiful. He didn't have to go through all that or suffer in such a toxic relationship with Ian. He could live his life happily and peacefully, doing what he loves. His future didn't depend on anyone else, unlike Ian and TJ, who, in the midst of all that, had a terrible dependency that they never managed to break.

Ian slept with countless men, and TJ probably with many women. Jo was the good guy who fell in love with someone unsuitable. And that's the way it goes; in adult life, stories rarely have perfect endings and moral lessons. Everything is a shade of gray all the time. People do what they can with who they are and what they have. And that's how they relate to others.

It's that simple. A story with a more mature touch than the others. I don't know why everyone's making such a big deal out of it.

I remind you that many BL stories seem more like heterosexual fantasies with homosexual characters. The reality within the LGBTQ+ community, for better or for worse, tends to work very differently. So, getting indignant about an author's vision doesn't make much sense.

I appreciate that many authors remain true to their works despite the fandom's criticism. It would be terrible if they changed their stories or just created fanservice to sell copies.

This horrible trend of harassing authors should end. If you don't like it, that's perfectly fine; just don't read it or buy it. There are stories for every kind of reader. Especially those who don't want to or can't buy the original material should at least respect that.

Hmm with their poor communication, it won't be difficult for the antagonists to make Shuraka believe that Tei betrayed him. This will be a long path. But i hope they can love eachother soon.

Ah, that's why all the concubines are older. It's because they weren't Shuraka's; they were his father's concubines... and Shuraka didn't kill them all at his mother's request.

I hope those words about dying for a loved one don't come back to haunt him, and that leaving that snake alive doesn't take Tei's life.

I suspect the creator might end up killing TJ to save Ian. Even though he chose the mafia as his world, he loves Ian and I don't think he'd let them kill him. So the creator could use TJ to save Ian and give him the freedom he desires, possibly alongside Joseph.

Besides, seeing how much Ian loves TJ, it's unfair to Joseph that he's with him like this. Jo deserves better, and Ian has many unfinished feelings and resolutions with TJ. Killing TJ and giving him his freedom is what I suspect the creator might do. For me It's sad, but it seems the most viable outcome.

Jo's death would be an injustice. Ian's death would be a tragedy for everyone involved. TJ's death saving Ian...would prove that Ian was indeed what he loved most, and that Ian could turn the page on that whole world with Joseph, who would be the most suitable partner.

Truee and I definitely agree, the only problem is idk if Ian’s gonna take it well if Tj’s gonna be dead because of him

I personally would prefer TJ and Ian to have a happy ending, where they could communicate better and love each other without all that heavy world they've lived in and made mistakes in.

And I would prefer Joseph to distance himself from Ian, since I feel he's a noble character and deserves better. Not to have the worst of him brought out in that spiral of conflict, a victim of Ian's broken heart.

Regarding the possible ending with TJ's death, that would devastate Ian and he might do something suicidal if he were alone.

...but I suppose that's what Joseph is for. Without TJ and with a broken Ian, Joseph is probably the only one who can save him from that world and from letting himself die. Help him with his grief, perhaps.

Even though it's a tragic ending, and I wouldn't like TJ to die, I still feel like it seems to be heading in that direction. If the creator puts Ian at risk, I feel it's likely that TJ will get himself killed to protect him.

For those who are confused. Apparently, something happened with Yuta and Seunghyun in the past. It seems that Seunghyun had lured him, perhaps with the promise of getting him out of that place where he was being prostituted, and that Yuta even fell in love with him in some point. But he ultimately abandoned him and never saved him from that place. And that's why he says he was torn apart and fragmented for a long time until he managed to marry that powerful old man.

And that's why the memory comes up, which is a flashback of both of them, of Yuta remembering when he called Seunghyun after being abused and hurt by the son of his future husband (who is now dead). And remembering that apparently at that time, Seunghyun told him to call him if anything happened, but didn't speak and hung up, feeling foolish for thinking that a Yakuza would actually care about anything that happened to him. (Possibly this memory is from before Seunghyun made the promise to get him out of there or whatever.)

And then comes the memory of Seunghyun, who, after that missed call from Yuta, finally went to the brothel (suspecting it was Yuta who made the call) and found him all hurt.

Apparently despite the mutual resentment they have at the time. Seunghyun is haunted by something that makes him feel guilty or bad. Possibly abandoning Yuta there and that everything that Yuta suffered and shaped the current Yuta could have been avoided by him.

Horus's sins are nothing compared to Seth's sins... (not counting Osiris's, and no one ever took their eyes off them despite the gravity of his actions.) It's sad that Horus is always the one who bears the collateral damage.

He sacrificed his divinity, abandoned his throne, his family, and practically his dignity for love of Seth. And Seth only used him as a temporary relief from his problems.

Hiding the mirror from him was wrong. But neither of them really knew how it worked. In fact, we don't even know what can happen. And yet Seth was able to harm him like that and run away like a coward.

I hope he becomes a God. And that Mojito stops sending him around like a lapdog after Seth all the time. Horus deserves character development, and if he even helps Seth again in the future, I hope he doesn't remember it. I hope he continues his damned life away from that disastrous relationship.

If Seth finally truly falls in love with him, let him fight for Horus, make him deserve the love Horus had for him again, because so far Seth doesn't care much for Horus...

And even though Horus acted wrongly by hiding the mirror from him, he was always there for Seth, looking for crumbs of affection and buying time to see if Seth might suddenly love him back before serving his punishment. We didn't even see Horus's intention to trick him into abandoning his family. He only selfishly bought himself time to reach Seth's heart, and it seems he didn't even succeed.

Although it was wrong to lie, Horus didn't deserve that savagery. Seth doesn't deserve to have Horus looking after him. But that's possibly what will happen.

I hope Mojito gives Horus some dignity and isn't just a tool in Seth's character development.

Sometimes I think that if the soul survives, by keeping Hikaru's body fresh, maybe at some point he could return to life?

Would it be cruel for Yoshiki to repeat the painful experience of losing the "Hikaru" he now loves and recover the Hikaru he loved.

Or maybe they'll both merge and become one mountain being? And that's why we see the panel when the tv report said they were both found dead in the mountain?

Or could that corporation banish him, destroy him, or seal him away?

I just hope our "Hikaru" doesn't destroy himself to save everyone. That would be very sad.

How difficult. They both have their own compelling personal reasons.

TJ has lived in a world where only power has given him a place, and he doesn't know how to live outside of that world. And although he initially could have done it for Ian, he later, out of his own ambition, wanted to achieve something more. Although he loves Ian and wants him by his side, he already has a clear goal and might even die for it.

For Ian's part, he's absolutely right; he can't continue living like this. Especially after going through so much. Even if TJ were to lead the mafia and not get married and openly take him by her side. It's a life Ian doesn't want, no matter how much he wants TJ by his side. The best thing is to get away from all that. And well, he's already found a way to achieve it through Joseph.

Although Ian wanted to leave everything behind and try one last time to make that new life with TJ...how hard it is to see how much he loves him. But ultimately, it's something irreconcilable between him and TJ. I suppose Joseph will probably understand and forgive him. In time, Ian will stop loving TJ so much... I think.

So they'll still love each other passionately. They want very opposite paths.

I hope they both end up well apart. It's healthier for both of them not to persist in that relationship and for them to each live the life they want. Ian has already endured a lot of waiting for TJ to give up everything for him.

Although with all that huge trouble that's been created... I suspect they'll end up killing TJ. And Ian will end up running away with Joseph.

The thing about tj fan is, they dont want to admit TJ is hateable and he did more way more insufferable mistakes that ruined ian and HIS own life. It's fictional and people can love and hate whoever fictional character, but when they're denial about what's written in the story, that's what piss people off. So many tj fans are glazing him into something he's not. It's as if they're creating their own fanfiction about his character.

It's okay to like red flag characters while acknowledging their redness.

I keep seeing on X how that they admit TJ is bad, but their words contradicts that heavily. They make it as if Jo is the worse one or Ian is horrible for sleeping with others. Not to mention how out raged they get over him, to the point of being an ableist, racist.

It would be peaceful if those people just admit that they like asshole for how well written the characters are as an asshole. Well, take me for an example, I like so many red flags seme but you will never catch me glazing them bc I'm unapologetically like how those red flags are written in the story. However, I find so many TJ fans are in denial of how piece of shit TJ is
