Author’s nearly taking the piss now. I’ve half the mind to drop this, or hit a pause, with the way the story’s heading; Overwhelming amount of SA & manipulation - which seems to be the cycle here, disappointingly enough.
Do you expect demons to be good or evil? Don’t let the beautifully drawn characters take away from the fact that they’re sex demons. They’re deceptively beautiful for a reason but they are still from hell.

Shinje’s breakdown in the latest chapter might’ve been the result of years worth pent-up grief kept hidden due to his environment; It must’ve been like a moment of allowance to just let it go at that moment — The sole purpose of his being just being cracked open. It’s amazing.
It’s nice seeing him be a little bit more human in these recent chapters, hope it doesn’t go to waste here on out, but hope can only do so much in a series like this lol
I hope one day that I can collect and treasure this manga in physical form. It’s been a good trip having to follow this manga and the stories of Takayanagi-sensei’s students and life… certainly has made me rethink my own life. Maybe someday I’ll have a sit down with someone like him.
