First thing that made me think the author's a guy was when she said "I've also heard women have certain days where they just want to let themselves look disheveled". 'Heard' like she's not a woman herself lol. And from there she's just being unreasonably irritating for me. Is that the word for it, vain? I guess so then, yeah.

Well usually in some writings, women are portrayed as 'vain,' useless or putting too much importance to outward appearance. I get that it would be unsuitable to say being a woman herself (a pick me). Though I feel that in the context she doesn't seem to relate to any normal person because of her status.

It's nice seeing them both happy. Irl, with how they are, many things could've gone wrong. Guy might grow some audacity and think that bcs the girl's comfortable with him, she owes him something. Girl might continue her old ways of cheating. Personally, I'm not big on him being a simp and already kinda watching her from the beginning.
