Do you think Tatsumi loved Senzaki? Truly loved him?
I am starting to have doubts, maybe it wasn't love and Senzaki saw it too. Tatsumi wanted to be free, to go against the rules and he found someone who was the opposite of him. Maybe he liked what Senzaki represented and not who Senzaki was.
OR I am wrong(most likely) and they will be together after karino messes sth up.
I agree with ya. It feels iffy that there was this mutual love. In my eyes, Tatsumi wasn't in love with senzaki, he was in love with the thought of loving senzaki and what it represents on the surface.
I think he felt something, but he's a high school boy and he doesn't even know who he is yet, much yet whom he loves. Maybe he liked who Senzaki represents more--but then again, he still felt something.
About them being teens,I read it pretending they are a little bit older. Otherwise,this simple fact of them being teens would ruin it for me. Anyway yes,he felt sth but it wasn't that kind of love( which we hope to find in fiction xDD)
I know what you mean. I often pretend that high school yaoi is about university students (at east) so I don't feel pervy. They all act like adults anyway. But for Caste Heaven, I think some of the brutality comes from the high school "Lord of the Flies" vibe we hope most people outgrow. But for this story, I don't think it's "true love"--but not a total lie either-- "It's complicated."
This is the only yaoi where the chemistry between the main characters comes naturally and the reader can feel it. Well done to the author, I am dropping this genre but Caste Heaven is worth reading.
Was it the new chap or just a preview for the CD? Anyaway, that was so good. They are perfect for each other, kind of the bad boys couple..... Loving it.

I don't know what I want from this manga.....but a happy ending doesn't fit.
I want to know something about yata's life. Hopefully the next chap will not be as heartbreaking as this. The last chapters have been a pain to read
BTW am I the only one who is pissed at yata and kuri? The first time yata met that woman he said to momo that he started the fight(I mean did you hear that she would sell him?!), now they talk to her, understand that she has no guilt and bring a recorded tape where she says that she never liked him but pretended at first. I mean, that's not how you protect those that you love.
I am too. How the hell can they think it's good to make him take on more guilt for his abusive mother than he already does? If they really cared about him, they would keep this toxic abusive "mother" away from him.
Anoni Grrl this manga is so sad, I have read crazy stuff but this is too much. This mangaka ,it may seem weird, but she is highly realistic in her depictions. Momo's life, the way he acts, the way he is described ,his boyfriends who treat him like an object, his friend who doesn't care....it's just the life of a prostitute.A guy who is illiterate, who was abused all his life, who was picked up by a stranger is doomed . When I saw documentaries about child abuse they all had no hopes,like Momo who called Yata a stranger. This makes me believe that harada won't give him a happy ending. There was a sudomomo if I recall it right, now yatamomo, what is next? Yata has a family, they seem to be wealthy, will there be place for momo? I don't think so, he is cute, but yata doesn't seem to consider him nothing more than a cute boy,plus he is younger than momo so he just wants to have fun. Ugh, plus all the people justifying the mother are driving me crazy lol
I believe he'll get a "Yaoi logic" happy ending--that is, he'll forgive the abuser (even though she isn't really sorry, doesn't see she is wrong, and still isn't doing jack for him) and I think we'll see him with Yata. Yata won't be any better than he is, but no worse (and The Seme is Always Right). And I'll be mostly happy because we'll see Momo as being happier--and I really want to see that. I could be wrong, though.
I haven't read any previous work from this mangaka, but this manga has a sad atmosphere,I mean every momo's smile is fake,everytime he sleeps with Yata he hates how he is treated but does nothing cuz he doesn't want to be without him......or I am just reading too much into this. Who knows, but hopefully there won't be another guymomo cuz it would be too much.
This is probably Harada's "fluffiest" story. It's also my favorite.
You mean she has created other characters in worse situations/more damaged than momo?
I guess I should read some fluffy works.... I have been stucked with depressing yaois lately
