I'm a more recent yaoi/shounen ai convert but i don't hate shoujo. Shoujo was my first addiction lol. I will read it sometimes if it's one I'm hooked on (like Skip Beat) or if there's an interesting, moving plot that feels pretty fresh. My closest online friends know and a cousin (because she used to made me read slash back in the day lolol) but no one else. Honestly, I've been so obsessed lately that I worry my friends are getting sick of it so I try not to bring it up that much.
