There's a distinct line between abuse and discipline. A parent should never call their child useless or talk down to them even when they're angry. A parent also shouldn't hurt their child out of anger. If you feel like your parents are causing physical or psychological harm to you without provocation then you could call someone for help. I really enjoy learning new languages. Though I don't know any fluently, I've been teaching myself Czech and Japanese. It would be nice to chat with people who can actually speak Japanese fluently to help out with my understanding and dictation. reply
