I think I dropped this around chapter 40 and I recently saw some Instagram posts about them being a lovey dove couple. So I thought I'd check this out again but after reading only the latest chapter, it seems it's back to same old same old. xD

What is up with those filler scenes? I don't care about those sword fights. We know who's going to win and going to lose. We know, Perez isn't going to fall in love with Ramona all of a sudden bc of one sword fight they had, he doesn't care about her. We don't need half a chapter of the empress making one stupid choice after another and the rest of the chapter being a sword fight without any relevance. Give us story development and not stuff we don't need to see...
...but the female MC just pisses me off. Don't know why, but I'm kinda glad, I just read till chapter 15. And reading all of those comments, saying 3/4 of the chapters is just them having sex, makes me even more glad, that I dont have to waste my time reading this story.
Seems like the autor didn't have their wattpat era and wanted to write this mafia/pregnancy kind of story.

...when I get chapters mixed up with one another and the names of various characters switched up so often, I get name-whiplash and can't remember which character was called what name. :) I really like that, couldn't imagine something like a good translation, consistent names and chapters which aren't cut up and smushed together with other chapters, so the reader gets confused.^^

I've had quite some stories, where names where changed but I've had it with this one. Every two chapters something or someone is called or pronounced differently and I have to wonder, who or what they're speaking about. How difficult can it be, to look at past chapters and just go with those names, instead of changing everything around constantly?! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I can bare with the mediocre translation, but if all the names of the characters and places are constantly changed, I don't want to read that story anymore... Definitely dropping this story.

...I'm really enjoying this story. I binged all of the chapters in one go. xD I'm more used to stories where a female character goes back in time or possesses a character in a novel, so this is a welcome fresh breeze.

Does anybody know, if there is another site with a better translation or maybe an official translation of this story? My eyes already hurt and I didn't even bother reading until chapter 11, bc half of the text bubbles don't even make sense...
Somehow this feels like every chapter is being dragged out and maybe I'm imagining it, but it feels like we have been in the backflash/alternate timeline for like forever. :')
Can't wait to come back to the OG timeline and see the story progress...
