Is this work reading? I’m reading what others are saying and it seems like a shit show lol? I am curious but I also don’t wanna waste my time getting invested only to be disappointed

Eh

I really like the ideas and concepts but it feels like everything has no context. We are basically being introduced to MC’s kingdom that he made into the #1 kingdom but the only context to this is that he changed his kingdom’s attributes to be dark(this is never explained what this does). Also characters are really close to MC but we are just supposed to know that. I’m not very far but it honestly feels like I missed like 30 chapters or something and am reading in the middle of the story and not the beginning. It feels like I am being told the story in the wrong chronological order or smt. ( ̄へ ̄)

Super cute and super healthy. It goes from funny AF misunderstandings, into falling in love, into couple troubles. The characters are extremely lovable and the ending is satisfying. Although criteria is not met for uke(as he has dated a lot before), he is still really cute and lovable. Seme is like the greenest flag to green, literally navigating the misunderstanding like a pro while being in his first relationship too. Sheeeshhhhhh. Overall, I am very satisfied with this manhwa and would give it a 9/10.

I loveeee the uke, so funny and cute af. But high-key don’t like these types of seme. The ones who get in relationships solely for sex. Like they are usually really trashy to uke and then later on act like they didn’t do anything wrong later on. It really icks me when this happens but maybe this will be different. Who knows. ( ̄へ ̄)

Omg

I love them so much. This was a perfect way to end finals week. Reading pure fluff and healing from a stressful week. I do got one more test but this is a good prelude for the end for my finals

I know Olly and Qifrey are “best friends” but they literally have the perfect love story. Like Olly will always find out Qifrey’s secret, and then will always decide to sacrifice himself for Qifrey. Like ssncksndksj plssssss make them not best friends and just lovers I BEG!!!!! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ They are so perfect together and would bring me weeks of joy and happiness if they got together.

Um

Is it just me but I feel like this has so much that could have been explored? Idk I just feel like it’s a bit too short lived. I feel like it could have been one of my favorites if they developed the couple even more

Ahhh fuck it all, I came back, I said I wouldn’t come because they make me too stressed back but the anticipation grabbed me by the arm and dragged me back here. Now I’m officially stuck here worried for them more than the exam I have tomorrow oof.

Also idk if anyone cares but seme is a virgin. Around the time of the hospital scene in the novel, seme talks about how he hasn’t dated at all in his life. Idk why author cut it out but ya

This is so good. What’s I especially like is that it is a story first, BL second. The relationship isn’t prioritized instead the story behind the main characters is developed. Chapter 77 actually made me fricking cry real tears bruh. This shit will make you sad as fuck man. It’s so good to because the trama, sadness, and feeling of the MC at so real.(▰˘◡˘▰)

Mangaka plssssss I need a volume 2. I haven’t stopped thinking about these two since forvever!!! I need a satisfying end, the ending is so unsatisfying Rhijdsnkdns(╯°Д °)╯╧╧

I can’t, I’m done, this manga is making me too stressed to keep reading. Like wtf do you mean MC went to a dangerous area with a character who we KNOW has it out to hurt MC. ML is going through his own shit. God it’s so messy it’s making me stressed for them

Rereading this, the tone of the story is happy and joyful and yet there is so many sentences and topics within the story that hint that the future is an unfortunate end or in this case, a not so “happily ever after”
I’ve compiled some things that stuck out to me and what what they mean potentially…
- chapter 7, #SevenSpingWeeds “one day he’ll realize this relationship is limiting and throw me away like a weed”. This sentence is weird to me because it’s kinda random. It feels like it’s trying to tell you something but doesn’t tell you enough to really get a definitive idea on what it means. It makes me wonder, why is he saying this?
-chapter 11, #TheUsualPlease “I’ve always given you everything…your favorite changed from melon soda to cherries… I haven’t changed at all”. This sentence stands out b/c of its juxtaposition(look this up if you don’t know what this is). It’s a small comment that may seem irrelevant but I feel like this comment has a grander meaning for the seme.
-chapter 12, #Light “but you’re not like that, you’re strong as always as you don’t like me… the stronger I get the weaker I become… he is my last love”. In this context, seme is saying that uke’s strength to face the problem head on causes seme to want to follow him and also face it head on(this is from my understanding). What really makes this statement so weird to me is the last thing he says. His last sentence “he is my last love” this statement here is ment to emphasize his lifelong loyalty to uke, but I question the way it was worded because it could also be interpreted as “even though we aren’t together anymore, I could never love anyone more than you”.
-chapter 9, #Almost god “will the world change first? Or will it end first?… will I be a millionaire first? Or will you leave first?” Similarly to #SevenSpringWeeds it’s random but seems to be hinting something very important. The ideas talked about are parallels and contrasting ideas. The seme asks these questions not because he expects and answer but because he is uncertain.
-chapter 8, (the cover page, February). In that cover we can see both seme and uke sitting on a fense. The uke is pointing to a balloon. This is most definitely a reference to the famous “Girl with Balloon” Mural created by Banksy. Banksy’s work “girl with ballon” depicts a young girl in black-and-white reaching for a drifting, heart-shaped red balloon, symbolizing lost innocence, hope, or fleeting love. I believe the mangaka knew exactly what they were doing when they chose to draw something similar.
-chapter 2, (the cover page, August). In that cover we can only see uke, and uke is holding the hand of who we can only assume seme. They are surrounded in a field of sunflowers. But, why sunflower? It’s because Sunflowers can symbolize unwavering faith, loyalty, adoration, and longevity due to their habit of tracking the sun. But, why is seme cut out of the picture? Well, this is just my hypothesis but I believe that because the story we are reading from is from seme’s perspective he is like those sunflowers, always watching uke(his sun). Either that or maybe the opposite, uke is like one of those sunflowers always watching seme(his sun).
-chapter 10, (cover page, April). In the cover we see uke and seme holding hands and walking along the beach. Seme looks towards the land, while Uke looks to the sea. But why? Why are they looking away from each other and not towards each other? I’m not sure how much this could mean but it also feels like it’s also not insignificant.

-anyways, this all comes together to make me believe that the end we want for them may not be the end they will get after all. If you have differing thoughts on certain things, please do say? I’m so curious about how other interpretated things

I mean it’s not like uke knows seme’s friends all that well. He doesn’t really understand them like seme would. It’s perfectly understandable that he would be worried about his partner’s image to his friends about a homosexual relationship in a place like Japan. People tend to treat other different over the smallest things, and a person’s sexuality never seems to be a small thing unfortunately in our world *sighhh*
