Unlike pretty much everyone here, I wasn't very shocked. I already knew about gay sex and this type of writing, I just had never read it. My first anime was Fruits Basket, I believe. I remember at that point I didn't even know what anime was but I really liked it. I read my first manga many years later and it was Black Butler which my friend practically forced me to read but I ended up loving it and it's actually one of my favorites. reply
