I think the reason why Deborah of all people doesn't get any magic is because it's sealed away naturally or on purpose by someone pulling all the strings from behind, as to why, probably because she's the actual saint instead of Mia. I don't think it's just unlucky genes since context wise, Deborah not having magic was a surprising thing.
I have a few theories as to who could the mastermind be, but based on the silhouette we get and context from the crown prince, it's probably the mother of the third prince, empress or concubine I'm not too sure. The third prince was mentioned to have black hair instead of the royal blue, so I'm assuming he got that from his mother, the only character we've seen with black hair so far was the silhouette of the mastermind so I'm mostly confident about that guess.
As to why they're actively pushing for Mia being a saint, since in the original story she ends up with the crown prince, maybe it's to actively plunge the kingdom into a disaster that the third prince can fix so that he can get the throne, and since crown prince sided with Mia who's probably the fake saint he'll be kicked out from his position.
Idk how Deborah got mixed up with them in the first place, since they didn't even consider her as a threat until she unknowingly screwed up Mia's chances in getting popular. Maybe the empress knew Deborah's mom and that's how they sealed her powers, or maybe it's a natural thing in which the saint doesn't get their powers until a certain age or with certain conditions.
Do not come back to this message after the next few chapters where everything gets explained, I'm probably looking into it too much lol
My blood pressure is rising every time Baal and that princess is on screen, yes i know she's being manipulated, yes she doesn't know any better, does that make it any better? no. no it doesn't.

so happy to see reihas/reyes's ending ik he's not the best person to end up with (obviously hence red flag, don't actually root for people like this irl) but i've always rooted for him

I can't believe it, they actually revealed that he's human, I know it's such a low bar, but there's always those stories that dangle a secret in this:
"will they finally find out that x is x!???"
type of development, but it turns out that nothing happens and it just teases the premise for a bunch of times only to reveal it at the ending and all the characters accept it immediately and they all join hands and kumbayah together, it's so refreshing to have a secret that has a consequence and is not just an added bonus
with that said, I refuse to acknowledge this manga as canon UNTIL we go back to happy soulmate trio status
the whole thing about marianne being forgiven and why a lot of the readers aren't able to accept that ending is because we were never given a reason to think that she can be forgiven
we've spent so much time and so many chapters seeing the effects of what she did to the main character and how hard it was for the mc to even think about accepting the love of her new family because she was traumatized of what happened with her previous one, and now we're supposed to just accept her apology?
if she was a sympathetic character and given enough establishing plot points throughout the story maybe we would have considered it, but most of us right now are just dealing with the fact that this seemingly unforgivable person just had their apology accepted, it's unreasonable, and this just seems like she managed to brainwash everyone for one final time
then again, i'm reading this for free so who am i to judge?
