This hijacking arc was so underwhelming and the rescue so fast, no elaborate strategy or fight scenes. It felt like the author didn't know how to handle it
I read a fanfic about this arc and it was honestly a 100 times better written and more enjoyable than this.

It's about how the hijacked arc (?) could have gone differently. It's longer with more details, strategy and action. For example Ijin handles the hijackers inside the plane differently (he kills them all), and the way he gets out of the plane and subdues the terrorist is far more elaborate
Everyone is batshit crazy, every character whether past or present: Daphne, Willmar, Richard, Elika etc..
I was not expecting the story to go the way it did and the author definitely was on some shrooms..But it's what gave me the motivation to continue reading after the whole betrayal part gave me the ick
