I kinda agree. In a way, I feel their "lovers' quarrels" had to be this extereme and heavy in order to fit their godly status. Them having "normal" lovers' quarrels, in human style, while being divine supernatural beings would have fallen short of their... being divine supernatutal beings. Still, I hope ONE ROUND of a living hell was enough and they SURELY won't need to repeat any of it, for the sake of that world's sanity
