Lol he's so obvious, jealousy aside, it's clear he's only "angry" at her "naivete at her uncle's reach" because deep down he's also feeling guilty as hell for deceiving her. And bottom line is, bc he actually cares. He wouldn't know self-awareness if it bit him in the ass with a darn hunting foothold trap.
