I forgot the name but parts of the story line goes like this. The uke is broke and has no money. He is on his last 3000 won and the side guy? Idk gave him his card so he can use it in a way it fit but when the uke for the first time tried to use the card that the side guy gave him the card read declined. The uke was excited to try a chocolate he had wanted to for the first time but since the card read declined he put it back. Smut has always been part of yaoi bc yaoi originally meant BL with smut. A lot of old yaoi manga have smut, it's nothing new, the problem is that many ppl don't know the meaning of the term and some non smut BLs are incorrectly called yaoi when they're actually shounen ai. Shounen ai refers to BL without smut, that's prob what ur looking for
That’s so true. I read a lot of shounen-ai when I was younger; now, reading yaoi feels too extreme. It can go both ways. Lately, it feels unprecedented; some authors are lackadaisical with their work and do the bare minimum with the plot. It’s just smut after smut each chapter. If that’s your main thing, fine, no qualms but there has to be balance. Nowadays, it feels like it’s on extreme ends of the spectrum.
