I don't know how many fujoshi's actually wish they were a gay man but I would say that that's definitely a minority. A lot of yaoi is well, painfully, shoujo-ish, the only difference is that there isn't a female lead. It really isn't meant to be realistic...(not speaking for all yaoi, just the majority).
