Spoiler************** I can't say it's 100% accurate since it was someone else comment but here is a summarize version of what they said......
Someone stated awhile back that the new reaper has the ability to turn back time and makes a deal with the ghost. To send him back in time but he has to exchange something. The Ghost agrees and apparently everyone memories are wipe clean. It's like he never died and the uke isn't supposed to have any memories of them being together. However, the same grim reaper made a deal behind the ghost back with the uke. So in exchange for bringing the ghost back to life he also has to exchange something. ( The commenter said they believe it was that they both can't be reincarnated and instead when they die they will have to become the new grim reapers, replacing them) Also apparently the uke & seme ends up remembering everything due to the deal the uke made and they both live happy every after.
