i first started reading this back when it only had 7 translated chapters, but i dropped it after breezing through the raws and finding that there was rape in every single chapter i clicked on. thought this would just be another rape fetishization series, and i wasn't about to drag myself into that again after caste heaven, but i came back to check on it to see if there was any development in the plotline or if dohyun was still just getting raped in nearly every chapter. answer is yes. to both. i'm glad i gave this a second try though, because it gave my mind a psychological trip. you first start off by hating sungho and pitying dohyun, but then sungho's past is revealed little by little, and i found myself sympathizing more for sungho than dohyun. their past relationship is still ambiguous, but you can at least deduce that dohyun was responsible for sungho's trauma. he thought having sex with dohyun was the only way for him to have any relevance in dohyun's life, so he forced himself to have sex with him so that he wouldn't be left behind. this doesn't justify sungho's revenge, but it shows how neither of them are entirely innocent. dohyun just wanted a fuck buddy, but he should have realized that sungho wasn't entirely interested after he literally told him that he just wants to do homework and other non-sexual acts with him as his friend instead. their relationship as a whole (back then and currently) is obviously unhealthy and damaging. i stopped rooting for dohyun, and interestingly enough, i was even disappointed when the warehouse was broken into because i wanted them to resolve their conflict without outsider intervention. overall, it was an interesting read, and thanks to everyone who worked hard to scanlate warehouse!
