I feel like people don’t give Gyuha enough credit for how wonderful he is as a character. He’s definitely not perfect, there are things he could work on but ultimately he doesn’t even have to…before getting married & having a kid, he was living his life well, he’s young, a man, had a job, why couldn’t he party & be a little crazy? Chayoung was the Same, they tag teamed partners and had orgys together.
People saying he’s always cold, I don’t think he’s cold, I see that he’s more laidback sarcastic. Besides, he and chayoung been rivals or whatever since they were young, they grew up together, their families are rivals too, why would Gyuha be super kind and loving to chayoung with that kind of backstory? Not to mention ML again, wasn’t that nice either. He’s the one who chased Gyuha and proposed being FWBs & made Gyuha bottom.
Anyways, as soon as Gyuha found out he was pregnant, he changed 180. Immediately stopped partying, stopped hanging out with nobodies, stopped eating and drinking bad, the whole 9. It’s shown he barely lets loose and only does when he’s sure his kid is well taken care of. Gyuyoung would not be that wonderful as a kid if Gyuha wasn’t a great parent.
Also chayoung saying “if anything goes wrong he will leave” did yall forget he is obsessively stalking Gyuha 24/7 this whole time? If I were Gyuha, already texting and calling chayoung all the time, already letting him know who I’m with, when where how why, all of that, and find out your husband is still stalking you? That would hurt me because I’m already doing what I’m supposed to do but you don’t trust me or what? I’d leave too. It’s like those dads that ask for a paternity test out of absolutely nowhere. And chayoung knows this; which is why it’s a secret.
If anything Chayoung is more cold than Gyuha. The way he literally didn’t care about Gyuha actually wanting the baby until he found out it was his. He literally doesn’t care about anyone else besides those who benefit him and Gyuha and his family.
But I love both characters, they’ve come so far, they are foils to each other, they know each other the best and they wouldn’t be where they are without both of them 100% understanding and supporting each other to be the best of themselves.
I just want Gyuha to get his flowers too. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I’m not going to argue with anyone, but I’m just so confused why so many people seems to think Chayoung is better than Gyuha or something and Gyuha needs to be this or that or whatever when Chayoung is just as bad if not worse, like who stalks their own spouse secretly? Who does that? Who proposes a FWB deal & gets mad that “Fwb” isn’t loving to you? Chayoung does.
