'Gintama' anime specifically, it's mostly a comedic but slowly goes towards serious arcs while still having little of that comedy. it's really good watch, all characters are likeable, the female characters are not sexualized and are strong too. The arcs are like the most ridiculous or the most coolest ones. It's my favourite, thus the reccomendation.
