The MC is a guide/esper who has unique abilities that may bring him problems so he decided to disguise himself as a C class guide only to catch unwanted attention and get found out by the ML who is an S class esper with some serious issues lol. I remember reading a chapter where he actually put himself on the brink of corruption on purpose just so the MC shows his abilities.
