Also, in some countries, the janitor makes more than entry-level hires. It is related to supply/demand. Not many people wants to be janitor, so the pay is higher than maybe macdo worker.

Yeah but he's not getting an entry level job, its more comparable to nepotism hire like the ml himself, just getting the position handed, so the expected salary would be of the position not what a regular person applying for a job and working up to that position would get, paying himself a ceo salary and then hiring his janitor to pay them nothing is crazy, also the company likely already has a pay package ready for an executive assistant since theyre looking to hire one so the amount should be disclosed to him already but he offered mc a lower amount , okay the more brain i use to type this in realistic scenario is so funny cuz something like this could never happen realistically anyway haha

You're right, I've also thought about the qualifications thing. But it should also be considered that he now is a janitor with after hours work as a secretary to an executive. So I'd think it's still not that much lol but yeah, he'd definitely not find that good a salary with his qualifications anywhere

The issue is not whether he is getting entry level or not. He is not qualified. MC is well aware that it does have the qualifications. If the job requires a bachelor degree, and you do not even have experience or a high school diploma, it is very fair to be paid less than someone meeting all the requirements.

And regardless, the pay is not an issue for the MC - it seems pretty good given his status. Rather than expecting that he is paid the same as a reg exec sec, we should be happy that he landed a job that would have been out his reach given his background.

This is literally not worker exploitation. He can refuse and no show up. That's his loss.
I don't know what you think life is about, but being able to land such position without qualifications is a crazy boost to a resume. Finally, you are very convinced that he will be paid pennies only based on speculations. No matter how upset you are about imaginary poor wages, the story is selling us a good opportunity for this nobody.
