Okay the situation is fair but what doesn't make sense is why the uncle is acting like its a "mystery" how jun got locked in the break room and that it must have been seunghyun another child who locked him in there....?

Cuz even if the door wasnt locked the only one who knew jun was even there is the uncle who got hospitalized and he told jun to wait until he gets back, so obviously jun would've been stuck alone in there regardless??

Also also, the door wasnt even actually locked?? It was blocked for some time and later when someone entered and found jun it was obviously unlocked so again why would he ever think someone locked jun inside to traumatize him, like why would this separate side quest be happening when the A plot already has an ambulance lol...all because he has a uniform with him?? Like logically he could've met the kid that he knows plays with him for a couple hours a day gotten the uniform (especially since he just expressed interest in going to taekwondo) and then continued to wait in their alone for his uncle to come pick him up which he couldn't so really he genuinely has no reason to misunderstand the situation, its extremely straightforward as an accident??

It feels like the author thought of the conflict first and then went back in to write a way to make it an unfortunate accident with no "villain" so now it just seems like there really shouldn't have even been a misunderstanding in the first place cuz its just an obviously wrong place wrong time series of unfortunate events type situation

And once again...by trying to make their previous connection deeper, made it even more silly that seunghyun has no recollection of any of this... sure he wouldn't recognize jun when hes older but once hes asked specifically about the child he used to play with at a construction site who you gave your uniform too... still not remembering is crazy work lmao

I guess it's guilt because he can't go and blame himself that's why he's blaming Seunghyun lol

Exactly like the door doesn’t have a lock on it, especially on the outside. There was just something blocking it

Literally like did he think seunghyun stood there blocking the door all day or what how will a child possibly even do anything if the door doesnt even have a lock at all

But he wasn't in the break room he went to the storage room. The uncle told him to stay in the break room but he didn't.

This. And when uncle asked him about the taekwondo kid, he was very defensive. Could have made uncle wary of our kiddo thinking he's a bully.

also considering Chaewon was crying the same day the uncle saw him.

I 100% believe its guilt. He doesn't want to acknowledge the fact that he should not have gone to work that severely sleep deprived with chaejun on site. But he doesn't want to face that reality because he feels guilty of having to be witness first hand of Chaejun's trauma and injury when stuck in the storage room.
I will add to the fact that the video thats mentioned being sent to him about Seung-hyeon is the same video Uncle Taewon shows Seung-hyeon himself in an earlier chapter. The video only shows Seung-hyeon erasing Chaejun's drawing with his foot. And with how overprotective guardian figures can be I can see how the first interpretation could be seen as bullying. Which only adds as 'evidence' to hiw Chaejun talked about him to his uncle.
So it was almost like a perfect scapegoat for Taewon to subvert his internal blame onto Seung-hyeon

Annoying as hell that the author is portraying garam as the one suffering for making a "bad choice" when his concerns are literally the only valid ones...jaehyuk continues to be an annoying child doing whatever he wants my way or the highway and somehow thats the side we should be taking here...? As if this story didnt literally start with jaehyuk as the "villain" and he just now kinda sorta started acting nicely towards garam so suddenly we're supposed to think garam is the problem in their relationship tf?

Jaehyuk - born with a silver spoon coasts through life getting whatever he wants, decides if he's gay or straight as per his convenience, can just fly out the country when things dont go his way

Garam - at risk of losing his family, friends, job prospects, being shunned by society for the rest of his life, at risk of physical harm and hate crimes if it were to come that he's gay

Also hilarious the author put a look back on their relationship in this story as if it doesnt just highlight how toxic it was instead of wholesome and loving

I wonder if the author thought of this after scene afterwards since at the start the pd acted like he got randomly ghosted one day and abandoned with no way of reaching him but now...ugh everyone sucks someone save Jooyeong...

Lowkey just character assassinated the pd in this just as he was raising a green flag in present day, now all his actions and behaviors are marred by what he did in the past and recontextualized as him being a flip flopping jackass... the way the author successfully had us all ignoring how he was basically the villain of the original story and had us rooting for him here and now he just seems like a prick who messes up the life of anyone hes interested without giving them any mind
