Woowon better not lose his memory if he gets hit by the bus. Im genuinely tired of this trope. Me personally I just think it’s unnecessary angst. Realistically why did he even chase after his father like brother he just ran away from you thinking he just killed you… he do not give a fuck about you
I took the fact that he didn't seem to know why was going on, and him actually not knowing where his dad was and looking for him as though he should be there is a pretty good indication that he lost that but of his memory.
1. Pretty much anyone who gets hit on the head and then wakes up alone would know pretty instinctively that the other person must have done it and that if they're not there they ran away.
2. If he had remembered that his dad had tried to kill him, or rather anyone in his shoes, would likely take a few minutes to emotionally quarrel with the fact that their own parent just hit them over the head with a bottle and instead of calling an ambulance, they ran away.
Regardless though, this was a pretty shit chapter all around. Nothing happened except the possible death of one or both of them, potential temporary or permanent harm, and most definitely a changed relationship. The dad was always trash, but this is the first time he ever tried to kill family members.
I’m 100% certain gege’s thought process with jjk was “hey let’s make an overpowered villain kill everyone while innocent people get gruesomely brutalized” don’t get me wrong I love villains in anime and manga but come on now bruh it’s the same shit. Sukuna fights someone, they die protecting someone else, Yuji gets traumatized again. For no reason.
Fine. Respect to gege for making jjk, but I don’t even think he thought it out fully. Let’s say Yuji dies. THEN WHAT? Yuji is dead, what, Sukuna’s just going to keep killing everyone till there’s nobody left? It’s so lame now. This is exactly why I dropped jjk. But fuck it I guess, it’s his manga. Don’t know what the hell he’s doing with it though.
