Am I crazy? This was kind of shit…
Why his mother abandoning him is not addressed? Why him failing high school is not addressed? Why him pretending ding to be a “real man” by getting to fights is not addressed? Why there is no talk about him becoming a pastry chef?
It had the ingredients to be a good manga, and it just turned to shit. I don’t like this.
I was sooo close to dropping this, the rape scene was kind of unnecessary…I can understand a little where that came from, he wanted someone to love him like how he saw his mom love his father, and after she left the house Kyouya didn’t have anyone that showed him love. So he psychologically wanted to “seal” the marriage and to have someone by his side. That’s why he didn’t touch him first after that night. But still, the story didn’t need it, rape is literally never needed.
Besides that. The story is amazing, I loved as well that we saw first things from Hinata’s point of view, and then in later chapters got the thoughts Kyouya had during those times, and how much he wanted to make Hinata happy. The plot line that they are both “monsters” in their respective societies, but then they find an island (where is mother is btw) where there are so many creatures they knew about, and in a way find peace with themselves.
I’m so happy for the extra chapter of their domestic life, and it was so cute to see them with children while babysitting…BUT I WANTED THEM TO ADOPT A CHILD. GIVE ME A HAPPY FAMILY CHAPTER PLEASE.

I genuinely thought this was gonna be a good story, but in 18 chapters all I got was sexual assault…
How can you make someone suck your dick when they are totally drunk and have no idea what is going on???
I feel disgusted…
Tae-oh made it very clear from the onset that he's a freak. Dong-jae was even creeped out by him at first and turned him down. Over the course of the story Tae-oh falls in love with him and his freak remains, but the lust comes from a place of love rather than just for his body like was the case at first. The point being that Dong-jae understands his intentions and him being a pervert is sort of just part of his personality, a part that Dong-jae has accepted more and more until eventually he's refusing to let him disappear and choosing to date both of them.
I also want to point out that Dong-jae is written in a very fetishy way as well. Very innocent, but with a smoking body. Prudish, but weak to pleasure. The story even has him talk about how "disgusting and dirty" it is for Tae-oh to touch his asshole in that final sex scene where they all finally go all the way. He's a naive virgin learning gay sex. It's very in-character for Dong-jae to get drunk and innocently mess around with Tae-oh's dick and for Tae-oh to not bother trying to resist in the face of that.
