Y'all need to chill.. you have to recognize that the female lead does not know as much as the reader and so obviously she's not gonna be right in her assumptions.
If Nocton was being hella sketch and was doing all sorts of shady shit obviously she's not gonna trust that easily.
This girl went through all sorts of shit trying to gain his favor. He obviously was on his own shit back then, but he's also guilty of not sharing things till it was too late.
He knew of the possibilities of her misunderstanding, and carried on thinking she will just be sitting around.. all sorts of shady shit later, mixed with her bias from reading the novel it's not a surprise she ain't buying jack squat.
I meant to dislike not like. Although I agree with you on so many levels, she is still and also in the wrong regardless. She went through shit trying to gain his favor as kids when she was only kissing up to him to survive, she didn’t even mean it at first. Now stuff that he isn’t even doing she blaming on him AFTER she found out he was the villain of the novel and AFTER Alice started putting shit in her ears. you still right so don’t come at me with no bullshit but you can’t put everything on him like that because we also mad at him, but at least we saw a character development on him, she haven’t shown not a drop of it.
I think you misunderstood. I wasn't putting all the blame on him. I was putting down my opinions cuz most of what I saw in the comments were people dissing the fl for not being completely correct with her thoughts towards the ml.
While I can see what you mean with her feelings not being sincere at the beginning, I think the author cleared up that their relationship wasn't a meaningless one, and that the female lead was clearly dissatisfied with the way the ml was treating their relationship.
The character change hasn't happened with her yet.. that's what we're waiting on.. it's slow progress. If things went the way we wanted then this would be a very short story.
But tbh, most of these reincarnation stories see very little development with their female leads.
I wonder what was it that made Kuon turn to violence when he was young.. i would think it was his rebellious phase.. but his parents seem to care for him a great deal and he seems to be ashamed of showing himself to them in the aftermath of that past.
I know that Ren(Kuon) and his parents do care for each other and stuff, and that Ren did some shit that made him deny his identity as Kuon.. but shit bro.. he's out here playing hide and seek with his parents..
I think the story would have been miles better if it was more about the dad overcoming his flaws than a girls high school romance.
There was a good enough buildup for the dude.. if the side stories for him were introduced in the beginning and were more spread out along WITH the girl's story I feel like it would have made for a more satisfying tale.
I don't even care enough about the old flame cuz she was only sprinkled here and there..
I would have loved to see more conversations between the two love interests of the dad and maybe between them and the daughter.
The dad was basically there the whole story to just be eye candy essentially. They could have played up more on his fear of women and seen more about how the nurse was better suited for him than the other girl because of her reliability in the workplace and her better understanding him as a flawed person.
( ̄へ ̄)
I'm sticking around to see all of their demises.
I don't understand what's up with all the secrecy in all of the relationships.
How the fuck was this girl dating the bouchou for 7 years and not know the reason for him committing adultery?
Romance wasn't involved till later in their relationship. (Or at least that's how I interpreted it)
The girl is so gullible.
The Shinonome dude just straight up needs to go to a psychologist.
The second he committed the crime was the second he lost all rights to call himself a victim. (He can go fuck off)
Overall, the story ties pretty well within each other.. not that it's a positive story by any means. The theme is essentially "women who can't live their lives without men."
The validity or acceptability of that as a proper concept is up to all of y'all.
I'm sure this story isn't gonna sit well with y'all since it demeans the will of women and makes them characters who are easily influenced and manipulated by men.

Doesn't his love interest flee with the other guy? Or does he die?
It's would be sad if he did die but I hope it's the later
