ONLY IN FICTION, I won't have too much of an issue with these types of themes, so that is not why I didn't enjoy this read. It was poorly constructed, and quite literally tried to throw and combine all problematic scenarios in a span of 6 chapters.
It was a waste of time and unfortunately I'm those that if it's short, once I start reading I must finish, so overall this gets a ZERO rating from me.
Before the ending I had originally thought to rate this a 4 star because there were some plot wholes. And the way the scenes/dialogue played out, it was leaning toward Senoc being the main lead. Then Aspyn admitting she can't regain her love for "only one man" but knowing she'll be happy in the future she straight up said she wants both Senoc and Kade, and both of them just bending for her was perfect. Just for those last few panels I give this a 5 star. Why choose when you can have both?!
Though I'll admit I would of liked to of seen a kiss/spicy scene for both Male Protagonist with their Queen.
It's unfortunate that they had to change artist but I'm assuming the author as well because the story line just fell off the cliff. I wasn't a fan of Felix prior but after the change especially during the intimate scenes it just became horrible "sex" talk, and tacky sex scenes.
Summary of the storyline after the artist change(spolier)
As well as the sequence of events was idiotic like during the rescue for Benjamin(captured twice), tie up evil dude, then right after that Felix and Isaac have horrible intimacy, gets marked, goes to off stepdad, instead of resting to go straight to see son and mother, they show a montage of what happened becoming a "scandal", cleaning up flower shop, then finally for visit son and Mrs. Parker together, scenes are so out of place. Then shows wanting to get married, school for Benjamin, opening flower shop, put all of that on hold(school/flower shop doesn't get shown again), then wake up one morning goes of to get married, grandfather knows, wants to meet(don't show any of it). Plus random Halloween party, costumes, then Felix actually attacked Isaac where he was defending himself then was subdued using pheromones to force a tacky cosplay sex scene was just horrific. Just to end with possibly being pregnant, ban sex if, mention everything changed, END. Really bad.
I loved this whole manhwa, art amazing, characters fantastic, personalities phenomenal, story telling was a 10+. The ability to smell emotions was a unique plot at the time I read the unofficial years ago, and how everything unfolded was just one of the best stories I've read. At the beginning I never would have guessed Kanggo to end up being such an affectionate, supportive, green flag partner who is madly obsessed in love with Kamin. Kanggo's family is so lovely on how they cherish and show their emotions for one another plus fuck Kamin's family his new one is 1000x better. Forever happiness for Kanggo x Kamin. Also Suho's situation with his man Secheon, would of loved to have seen more. And I really do appreciate the creator didn't emphasize a good relationship ending of understanding for the families of Kamin and Secheon, not everything is happy rainbows under the sun. But it showed that people struggle for a while to try and hold on, when it actually hurts them the most, so once they let go of those ties they are better off without them toxic people who refuse to accept love. Overall given 5 stars!!!!
I love how at first I was not sure who was top x bottom then it was made clear, plus appreciate that the most affectionate they showed us as their highschool days was kissing. 10/10
Art was gorgeous, loved characters plus their twisted minds. Because of their traumatic pasts, I forgave a bunch of their harsh behavior, excuse being they weren't normal. But the story as a whole felt lacking, or rushed to try and get to an end. I like how the artist tried to explain their experience in helping recreate the novel but unfortunately I didn't get any of it. Maybe if I read the novel I'd have a better understanding of the characters obsessions for their situations and of each other. Just as the manhwa by itself, to me, it did not convey characters that needed salvation or a savior, though the setting would instill that everyone has fears of the end. But I felt so much was missing in between to get to how they ended up.
I wished they all ended up together, or had a more concrete connection to one another. But it's understandable on how difficult it would be to try to create a world of normalcy after facing what would of been the end of everything.
(Forgot to put spoiler warning)
Loved the art and the concept, except for the forceful, violent, and confusion interactions Youngwon would have toward Hohyun. Though it did make it more realistic because he was stuck in a loop trying to survive and being the only one to remember, which made him go insane at times. I am happy that they survived and were able to break the loop. It is understandable that it would end there because how else can you portray normalcy after going through that hell hole. I can only hope that they do use the vaccine and that the survivors get to live comfortably plus receiving mental treatment for the rest of their lives.
I loved everything about this, so much!
Shout out for the translator in the 1st chapter, I really appreciated how they emphasized about the use of pronouns. I had taken noticed while reading the 1st chapter then the end note written that they translated that way purposefully filled me with so much acknowledgement on proper translation of the original language.
Back to story, everyone's reactions, understanding, and respect for each other is what society should have always been.
How any healthy romantic relationship always starts. They noticed each other, had similar interests, respected one another, appreciated each other company, and slowly gradually fell in love with one another. Just perfection!!!
Also thank you so much to the creator that only showed them kissing as their intimacy in high school then as grown ups that they slept together. Though only hinting who bottomed is a crime but loved this wholesome beautiful story of what the world should just respect each other's interests, especially if it does not hurt/harm/degrade themselves or others.
Love the art but the plot felt in inconsistent, because either it was misinterpreted and lost in translation, the dialogue was confusing. It was confusing on what was being said and what was happening, especially how the sex scenes came about. I don't know it just felt like there was a disconnect with how their love story was brought about, something was missing. They make a cute couple though and wished to of seen more about their archery/life together.

I wanted to drop this around the time Jack saved her and she was hella rude about the whole thing, so in the very beginning. But I was like no it's too soon, give it a chance, then I was too far in to just end it especially when I'm the type of person who finishes what I start reading even if it gets boring. I thought, it was a short 58 chapters, though not sure if that really was the end because it says "to be continued", so just push through it and get it over with it.
The seriousness of the concepts would of been alright but it wasn't executed well.
Sadly it all just feels very childish, actually all the characters, especially the "adults", designs look child like in their sizes. There was constant errors in characters design, especially Squall's missing arm, some panels in the present time he has both arms, like during the towns play, but in his past as a child he doesn't have one arm though there's a part in the story his first time on how he had met Margaret playing the piano he had both arms.
It all just felt jumbled and especially rushed, also Margaret was very selfish, incompetent, and ungrateful in the beginning with Jack right after he had saved her. As well as how she reacted and treated the villagers in the beginning. Like yes, her past as Margaret she was sheltered, and struggled with her condition, which doesn't come up again or explained what exactly was the cause, but she was bold enough to form a relationship with Squall, though betrayed, her character should of been more intelligent on maneuvering her emotions and actions as Mag.
Squall's story about how he was tricked and used by his father had so much potential if only it had better filler, though I did enjoy that bit because it did make me feel bad for him. And I would liked to of seen more interaction with Lady Leona, I really like her.
As for Jack's past was interesting, tried to get revenge, riddled with guilt and sadly blackmailed, a child forced to make that poison, so when he told Mag about what happened her reaction pissed me off and enhanced more how naive she was as Margaret to not understand that a child had no choice but to accept an order from a noble or die. Like girl be so for real.
The things I had liked was Jack's mom, her story though shortly portrait was my favorite. She was an actual witch and the glimpse of her love for Jack's father and sadly how he died and accepted it after the mom told him and gave him the time frame of when he'd pass. She had told him it would been better if he hadn't known when but the he answered with the perfect line of, "It gave me chance to say proper goodbye".
Anyway the battle scene at the end was so rushed and the designs messed up again on showing scars on people's faces then they disappeared. The whole scene of Mag running away leaving behind Jack, him fighting the people who had kidnapped them, and then her turning back seeing him it looked like she didn't get far at all. Then to jump in water to save Jack the cliff was not that far from the water looked like a ledge instead, out of nowhere the kidnappers had arrows. Then Squall with the north soilders found them somehow then saved them. The confession was not it, felt lame, rushed and just an after thought.
The ending felt rushed, annoying, and very childish but I guess when you aren't sure on how to wrap everything up you just through all the ideas in and hope that satisfies.
