I dont agree. Now im not saying the ML is a green flag but hes certainly not red. Now bear with me for a bit as I say my piece. First I agree a lot of the things that the ML did was pushy and shady but context is important here. First off the bracelet, it was unfortunately a necessary evil. The MC if you remember at the beginning wasnt in a good state. The guild was desperately trying to get him a guide and was forcing him to do so because he was on the verge of breaking. And if the ML hadn't forced that bracelet on him the only other option would have been forced guiding and thats a lot worse then a bracelet. Then him invading his house. We have to remember the MC is the one that made his house his silo as they call it. So the ML didnt really invade his home. Guides are allowed full access to their espers silo, since thats the espers isolation and guiding safe place. So of course the ML went there. It was his job to do so. The MC, by making his home his silo, basically consented via proxy that the ML could enter his home. And we can tell by the MCs reaction to the ML being there that its what hes supposed to do, cause its his job. He is a bit annoyed but hes more then able to kick him out if he wanted. Remeber when he shoved the ML a bit and fractured his ribs while doing so? Or the fact that he can destroy the wall and bedframe with no effort whatsoever? If he wanted to stop it he could. Then your statement about him taking advantage of the MC. Now its definitely a bit more shady here. But we do have to give the ML credit for how professional he kept it in the beginning. You might not remember but in the beginning he kept it strictly to nonsexual guiding and even as it grew more and more sexual and the MC kept goading him into doing more he resisited. For quite a while at that. And while there where definitely some iffy moments he definitely tried his best to get consent. Even telling the MC multiple times to not do what he'll regret in the morning and not doing anything to him. He even compared his state to a drunk person and that he would be taking advantage of him if he did anything. Then you know what the ML did? Nothing. He guided and put the drunk person to sleep. The biggest thing to remember though is this isnt our reality. The MC and ML live in a Alternate Universe where all this bullshit is normalized. Where taking advantage of guides and espers are the norm and encouraged even. Because the risk of not taking advantage of them is death. And a pretty horrible one at that. The MC was taken advantage of by evey single guide he had prior to the ML. And why is that? Because it normal. Because they either wont get punished for it or will face very little consequences. If we look at the world that we live in there are lots of thing we can compare this too and honestly I gotta give the ML credit for not getting stuck in the mindset thats probably running rampant in the community surrounding him. Because thats a hard thing to do, genuinely. Then the biggest thing to remember is the ML didnt know about the MC trauma. How could he? Was he nosey in how he found out? Absolutely, without a doubt. But tbh thats the only way he wouldve found out. The MC is extremely private after all. And only someone like the ML wouldve been able to break down those barriers. And as the ML found out more we see him taking steps to protect the MC, the biggest example being him making sure the MC comes into as little contact with his abuser as possible. Do i consider this ML a green flag? No he definitely has his issues, but having issues doesnt make you evil. He isnt a red flag. Yellow? Yes, but red? Hell no. And in a genre ripe with examples of red flags, i think that should be fairly obvious.

The guild assigned them as partners and he was fine platonically guiding him until it got too extreme AND he still asked for consent multiple times. Taegun also agreed to try it out before they had guiding sex and even seduced him (with consent of course) into a hookup yall just reading with your eyes closed

It was also mentioned that taegun signed papers agreeing to guiding from the guild so they could assign him whoever, he just would run all his (prospective) partners away for being weirdos

Well atleast you agree he is not green thats the thing i hated reading comments everywhere that ml is green while mc is scum when you dont even know what sa does to people and how its important that someone doesnt get pushy and do shady things when you dont want it i get he was trying to help but stop lying atleast that you dont have ulterior motive when you do and trying to cone across as holier than thou

You are literally projecting… ml has never sa’d the mc and he is not scum he also was never pushy in guiding him ever. Stop projecting yourself in the story
