What the fuck is wrong with all the men in this story? Seriously even her dad is a selfish bastard that only care about what he is going to eat and don’t even think about what his daughter do so both of them can survive and that monk if you can even call him that
I think part of the reason is because this story is set during a time where women were less than men. They have all these rules to follow to be perceived as proper but they're all just property to the men in their lives. If I recall correctly, they even stated they don't have actual names. It's really sickening especially since it's told through Cheong's perspective, the most vulnerable woman in the story.
