There's a line between giving a character grace to learn and going "noooo stop hating he's just on the spectrum he's doing nothing wrong," which is an actual problem reflective of how neurodivergent individuals, like myself, are treated in real life. This is genuine infantilism, just like how you've defined it, removing accountability based on disability as if they were a child.
And Jaeyoung can help teach compromise by putting on his big boy panties and communicating how this controlling behavior is making him feel.
