I had a roommate with DID, not at all. Horrible representation. In reality none of the altars typically share memories and there are usually WAY more of em. DID is more of an inconvenience but this story treats it more as different kinks. Instead of as the inconvenience the actual disorder is. I had to watch my roommate fucking struggle to remember to do so much shit cus of the swapping.

Yes, most alters don't share memories with other but some can. I've known a few who have shared memories and its stated that before the MC came to the manor, their memories were separate. He's the one bringing about these changing. Its possible for alters to merge together. And yes, most people with DID have countless alters, but some can have a few. OSDD is a sort of variation of DID, where some alters can share memories or even experience little to no amnesia despite whoever is fronting, as well as having few alters. . DID does suck for the people who have them, there's even alters who try to harm the rest or the host for whatever reason they decide. It can be way worse than an inconvenience, yes, but this is also just fiction. With supernatural elements. There will be differences. And there will be sexual stuff since this is a yaoi thats a bit too focused on the sex. I have my issues with it too, but at the end of the day, that's just how it is. This is not going to be a accurate representation.

To me it makes sense, the host had retreated to the depths of their mind because he couldn't handle the torture. Because he was treated as a beast he 'became' one, bring about Monster Mugo. But he was too primitive, too childlike, so then Jerk Mugo is made and he's shouldering the brunt of everything because the others can't handle it. (I might even go as far to say Jerk Mugo is sort of a protective alter, because he's dealing with the torture because the others can't. He's also the one primarily fronting) And then when the people let him out and completely switched up on him, treating him with respect and reverence, Jerk Mugo didn't know how to handle that. Nice Mugo is born to deal with this new thing, and he's so obsessed with being a benevolent god. Being proper and sophisticated, looking down on the other two, believing he's better because *he* was the one they worshipped. Hell, they even have a mindscape thing (i forgot the proper term) a place where they communicate with eachother in the mind. A physical place with furniture that seems to mirror the manor, but in a very disjointed way, from what I can tell. The staircase, the furniture, the giant painting. It's a place they interact in.

Also I didn't know where to add this but they have specific triggers for coming out and such, as well as multiple of them being able to front at the same time.

I based it all on my roommate, they had way more than just DID, if you couldn't tell by what I wrote and I omitted a ton of info for the sake of "I didn't wanna write all the specific fucking shit I know about DID/"/time. The barebones of what Im saying is that DID is used as mostly a kink in this story and it is not accurate.
I don't even know if the shit in this story would even count as DID, since 1. a curse 2. each person changes physical forms comepletly

I said typically for a reason and knew triggers existed already, once again omitted it, because I didn't wanna write paragraph answers to this comment. At the end of the day, the answer is no. Nah uh don't backtrack now by saying you based it all on your rommate. You clearly made generalised statements in the very beginning of your statement-
1. "in reality none of the alters share memories". Wrong. There are 3 ways a host and and alter can interact- a) host is unaware of alter(s) and vice versa is true b) host is unaware of alter(s) but vice versa is not true c) host and alter(s) both are aware of each other

2. "there are usually way more of them". Wrong. Alters can range from 1 to 6000. So no NOT ALL individuals have "way more of them"
Now let's come to last point of yours where you said you don't know if we can call this story DID representation because "each person changes completely". Again, if you are not THAT informed about something how can you make statements man? I'll give you a real life example, there is a case of DID where woman was blind, she had an injury because of which she lost her eyesight. She developed DID later and reported that her alter (which she was aware of) was not blind and could see things clearly. Another well known case where a women had 6000 something alters and she was aware of each one of them. She knew their names, their allergies, age etc. Also in this story they are not changing, their personality is changing which is classic case in DID. How is it kink if one personality is timid, one is dominant and one is more authority figure? That is how most of the cases are. Alters can have different personalities, names, habits, even allergies, handwritings, age (in some which is true here too) etc.

You know good and well that going blind and not having an allergy is not comparable to completely changing physique in a split, which is not humanely possible, and once again WE'RE SAYING THE SAME THING. No, he certainly wasn’t in love with him from the very beginning. He was definitely interested in him and had been somewhat captivated by him since Pilsang first caught his attention. However, I believe that the moment he first mentions finding Pilsang cute marks the point where his feelings begin to evolve into genuine love.
He was also clearly surprised by the fact that he found Pilsang cute, but he just shook it off. And that's because in Korean culture, they say that when you start to see someone as cute, it’s a sign that you’re beginning to fall in love with them ~

It wasn’t so much jealousy as it was possessiveness. Pilsang had become "his" toy, in a sense, someone he and only he could play with and no one else, Jooeon acting just like a spoiled child unwilling to share his possessions.
At the same time, he genuinely didn’t want Pilsang to have sex with randoms, especially since he was also involved with him and didn’t want to risk catching an illness.
So in conclusion, Jooeon was definitely captivated by Pilsang from the moment he saw him sacrifice himself for Hajoon. However, i wouldn't say it was love at first sight, cause it clearly wasn't, instead, he gradually came to appreciate him and fell in love with him over time !
