It's a beautiful manhwa for sure but when it begins the start of Seren's story slowly growing up feels like they skip out alot of things? I do want to see how does Karina's family become after all the events that happens. Whether they continue living with regrets, watching Seren from the shadow during officials meeting etc.
I kinda hope to see Seren actually got to meet Karina's side of the family, whether they reconcile or something. The side characters feel kinda left out.
Hopefully we get to see them more on side stories, and probably Seren love interest lmao.
After the war part, everything pretty much seems rushed. And secondary char just doesnt seem existed anymore. Claudia's friend from different nation, the Principle and the watcher from the academy that said keep an eye of Nayla which at this point is just unnecessary plot. Claudia's father doesnt really do anything at all, and her brother no where to be seen after. Not to mention they never really found out the truth regarding the death of the mother/wife. Regis doesn't appear cause he got lock up so I guess i'm fine with that. The conclusion of this seems sloppy I'm guessing the author lose interest on the work that he just want to end it.
tbh even the war part seemed so rushed too. Instead of feeling the devastation and despair that war typically brings, I remember just being frustrated at the different plot points happening within a major arc. Like a 1-2 chapter build up, and then a different plot gets introduced and after 1-2 more chapters we return to the 'payoff' and then mostly forget about it
I've been enjoying reading up until chapter 180+, but after that personally for me it definitely getting bored of it. The politic conflict also is just meh and findind the cure for the curse also just taking unnecessary long. I will just think the part where they save the 1st prince and his mother then get married is the end of it.
I really like how they write on the family, I read alot of similar setting the family either kind or abusive on the daughter. But this is just neglects due circumstances in which we see it as abusive but they can consider as a kind parents. If they weren't they wont cry or feel remorse about Karina leaving them. It's just that they fail to understanding the Karina's feelings and compare to the siblings she just doesnt stand out so her existance feels very mild. Even thou the siblings can be mean(teenagers mind) but they definitely doesnt hate Karina.
Agree with you..
Growing up, I kinda find it difficult to explain to others about my family dynamic. People around me, either have a complete, harmonious, full of love kind family or a broken one (like parents committing adultery or abusive). While mine, lol, let’s just say I love my family but I don’t wish to live with them. Not even a day.
That’s why I cry so much reading this one because I’ve been there and totally understand where she is coming from..
Idk the beginning is interesting as the FMC taking care of Liliane and change her fate, but as it progress it feels like the story become much lackluster. The queen story and plot kinda just happen and end? Despite it being explained just somehow cant feel empathize towards her cause everything conclude it so fast. FMC past knowledge doenst seems necessary
Hmm idk man, i don't think i'll recommend this to new readers.
Sure the beginning is interesting enough introducing the chars and plots etc
But when reach at the middle it's ok but i personally feel like it kinda dragging on stuff unnecessary
But near the end part even worse as the story just goes haywire and we barely see the side chars involved with the final arc
Like whats the point of introducing all these chars and create connection if they werent doing anything.
Not to mentioned the ending itself extremely rushed

The Father and Daughter bonding/scene at least 20% through out the whole plot.
The origin of the FMC is interesting but the story to go with it doesnt polish it enough.
Wasted potential honestly, cause she someone who is strong it could have more slight political drama between nations but they too focus on the romance between the MC and FMC.
I cant really tell whether this is an okay read or not, nor do i recommend ppl to read it.
Unless you enjoy the art.
