I get the feeling the author never intended for Su-ah to come across as a rapist or an abuser (unlike in Killing Stalking, for example). They probably just used a lot of the common Omegaverse tropes that usually show up in stories with obsessive protagonists. The problem is that most of those stories were either written years ago, when people had different standards, or were intentionally created to explore those darker themes. Since the author never really meant to address those issues or portray Su-ah as a giant red flag, all the coercive and abusive elements just linger in the background without ever being acknowledged. Personally, that completely ruins the reading experience for me.

Same tbh. I can't even enjoy the cute moments which sucks bc the author is so good at writing them. The only thing keeping me reading now is I want to see Juhyeok happy at the end

I think Uke's decision was idiotic, BUT he's the victim, so for me his decision is the most important. And it's not like he wanted to stay with the rapist, he just didn't want to be involved in the guy's murder. I mean, why is the seme making everything revolve around him? It seems less about "comforting and protecting Uke" and more about "let me kill him, otherwise I won't believe you love me."

i have no clue where you got the idea that hyeondo was doing that for his own sake..? explaining why you're angry isn't the same as making it about yourself. i think your perspective is quite warped in this situation. he reacted that way because of how 'casually' yuhyeon seemed to treat something that should carry serious weight. although i agree that yuhyeon's decision is rational given the status they're in, it doesn't make letting the secretary get away free 'right'. this would of course provoke negative reactions from the readers, especially with how it's written. the whole thing just feels really poorly executed in general.

I'll try to explain my perspect about this specific event. I believe he's not doing this for his own sake, but he is doing it for his own desire; he's the one who wants revenge/justice, Yuhyeon dosent. As I said, it's not a smart decision, but it's Yuhyeon's decision. People react differently , Yuhyeon's reaction was to be rational, perhaps even reckless. Yuhyeon was hurt but insteand of asking if he was okay, or if he was in shock, sick, or in pain. Hyeondo's first reaction was to hit the secretary and leave the room when Yuhyon didn't said what he wanted to hear. I get the Hyeondo is angry because Yuhyeon is acting like he cares more about the secretary than about Hyeondo or about himself, but that is not the momento to confront him. Maybe I juding based on my own personality, because if the person i love is hurt that way dosen't matter how dumb one acts righ after that event , I'm staying by their side.

Everyone's talking about the name, but it makes sense within the story. Both men were kidnapped or abused as children, and furthermore, as adults, the older man believes that this kind of alarm should have been used against him because, at least in his mind, he is somehow "kidnapping" the younger man or "kidnapping the yonger man from his future," preventing him from having a more normal and healthy life. The story has a lot of smut , but it's not limited to that; there's a larger context.
