I think Chris was the ogML. MC is wrapped up on having the story play out relatively the way it originally did due to the conditions given to him when he transmigrated (I can't remember exactly what it was, but has to do with at least not having the world end and/or saving Alexis). And Alexis was also was of her og suitors, which is why Eugene sorta wants them to be together even if it won't work out for Alexis, so yeah
