People seem to hate this guy, I even saw a reel saying they're traumatized by this series. Personally, I read this because the art looks really good and the characters visuals are to my liking. But honestly? I feel like Miyoshi isn't that bad of a character. Yes, he is guilty for what he did in the first few chapters, but he later sincerely apologized and is very supportive of Usaka. All in all, Miyoshi is not a bad character if you're willing to read past his blackmailing chapters. Genuinely. I've seen worse characters than this.
