Yes, I get he is not completely innocent but...being a masochist has nothing to do with real abuse, the thing that seems it's happening, to me, at this character. He was drugged, the first time he did it with Rosà he wasn't even in his right mind and even if he enjoy sadistic Rosa, he just want to stay in the familiare, be someone's number one. I really liked how the story started, and I didn't never understood why people were so mad about a cheating in a contractual marriage with no promises involved. It was a facade and it was ok for me that she, or he, had a real lover.
