I think I understand if Estelle wouldn't ended up killing Khalid though. Bcs she found something more worth than thinking about revenge. She already said she would let go but won't forgive him. Meanwhile all Khalid wants was for her to think about him but she does the opposite.
What she feels is close to indifference towards him ig..
And I think for Estelle now to kill Khalid wouldn't make her feel the satisfaction as big as before now that she knows her country's history and all.
Estelle doesn't let her despite of Khalid to consume her. And that's good for her. Hating someone means u still thinking about them and at least feel something for them even if it was a negative emotion. So it's better to feel indifferent towards the people u don't like. Who cares what they do? Not me.
So I'm glad she won't just living to think about Khalid and revenge and just live with something that will be good for her life.
