I've never read a manhwa where an author draws such detailed kissing scenes. They're even smiling while kissing
They skipped the sexy time but gave us an a$$ shot so I'm not even mad
As someone who read it almost when it aired, I can say it's pace is normal considering it's short story. There is a lot to enjoy, no matter which way you look. The art, the intimacy they have very early on, then the angst, and as we can tell, the good ending nearing.
Yes, many parts could be explored (like the other students' reaction to Ijeong's relationship with Taerim or more clarity on Taerim's situation with his brother, who, I believe is his half brother), but that's the author's style. Other authors can make 2 chapters with smut in a row, little action, then back at smut, and this author delves deeper into emotions... What's so wrong?
Too bad it's a short piece. I'd have really liked it if the author had included the reactions of other students. Like, in the first parts, they're gossiping about Taerim, spreading rumors, and then as Ijeong starts sitting with him, nobody cares... I need drama and for them to question why he's suddenly all buddy-buddy with Taerim and why Taerim isn't so rude anymore.
the author just posted they're going on two week hiatus. but we're ok. we're still waiting for chapter 5
