Near the end of the chapter, it feels like there's a scene missing?

I trust Hardy has control of the situation, but I dunno if Gray is gonna just be obedient about ending things amicably at this point. He *has* killed at least one person AFAIK

I'm liking this, but I did kind of have to force myself to keep reading. If I had only read the first few chapters, I probably would've dropped it. It's a bit slow, and for a romance, there isn't really any guy I'm rooting for to be ML. One guy sucked as a husband, and the other is way too suss, lol

Also, the original premise kind of disappeared? MC divorces her husband to avoid her execution according to the original storyline. Through the course of the the story, we find out someone was manipulating things and making her life horrible in the first place but that person is now dead.

Complication comes in the form of the suss ML who also manipulated things to get closer to MC, but he seems to catch feelings, but I still don't trust him. Oh, and ex-husband loves his ex-wife now. But really, he loves the isekaiied person in his wife who did a 180 personality switch by requesting a divorce, so his guilt at how he treated her originally feels kind of shallow.

Suss ML has a crazy ex-girlfriend in the crown princess that, I'm kind of unclear what he felt for her. Narratively, she dumped him, but she clearly regrets it and wants him back, and is giving MC a hard time because suss ML set her up in the very beginning and had her unwittingly act to infuriate the princess. So, did suss ML purposely do stuff to aggrieve the princess, or it's a coincidence?

The background characters and drama is kind of interesting. Oh, and tennis, lol. Actually confused how there's a celebrated women's tennis tournament, but MC was being harassed and ostracized in the beginning for trying to joy a tennis club that was men's only - but why was it men's only in the first place???

There's also some commentary about gossip and papparazi effecting people's perception. From what I read, MC has been having a stupidly hard time all because of other people's actions and motives. She was genuinely minding her own business until the story starting storying lol.

Before even clicking on the chapter, I could see random image of someone's bare chest in the "Photos about the Manga", and I knew in my heart this was gonna be stupid funny.

I wanna try marking that stew. The rice water as a base is super intriguing to me.

I read some of this a while ago, but read the entire thing now.

Overall I really enjoyed it as a concept. I think the art was gorgeous, and I enjoyed the main character.

That said, I've noticed a disappointing trend of stories having really good s1 and then a weaker s2. That also seems to be the case here. Nevermind it's almost half the length of s1, s2 sort of rushed some of the plot and and I was left with quite a few questions at the end.

I liked ML just fine, but I actually was more interested in the familial relations. I think her bond with her adopted brother was really sweet and you can really see how hurt he is by the OG protagonist's actions.

Plus her father being a victim of sexual assault, and that not getting totally glossed over, was something I found commendable. It always feel tacky when stories insert that into the plot and not treat it with the gravitas it should have, so I wanted to acknowledge that.

But ultimately there were really only 3 characters that story focuses on. MC, ML, and OG protagonist. Everyone else feels pretty secondary and just serves as plot devices-and that's fine. I just wished they were fleshed out more. I was honestly expecting certain characters to actually be from the real world as well, but I guess it was just the MC and ML.

This whole time I didn't think there was male pregnancy in this story universe.

I'm honestly surprised at the author's restraint to not have Heeseong get pregnant considering how often Chi-Young finishes in him (⊙…⊙ )
