I guess it really depends on where you're situated and what kinda ppl you hang out with. I'd say 20 isn't old but the culture I'm familiar with might say otherwise. It's unfortunate but ppl who are over 20 and still virgins often get shamed or made fun of for it, it's pretty sad honestly like it's no one's business when you have your first time but a lot of ppl get pressured into it early and regret it later so I suppose it's not bad waiting until your 20s but then some might regret not doing it earlier... I dunno sex is weird XD why are we so hung up on virginity anyhow?! I don't like how it's smth you have to "lose" shouldn't it be more like smth you gain? like you had your first sexual experience that's gaining smth not losing

I'm still virgin in 20s i remember my school mates who lost their virginity to shitty people regret their decision losing virginity at 16 and 18 it's hard to forget your first sex so it always makes me anxious cuz it always stays in your memory for the rest of your life.

that sounds pretty healthy tbh, I'm happy for you <3 no one needs to get pressured into having sex too early it just diminishes the experience

good for you (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ I remember ppl telling me how they lost theirs at the age of 15 only bc everyone else in their friend circle had already lost theirs and sex was pretty much the only thing they talked about it was so sad to hear :( I also have some regrets though not about my age but definitely the guy bc he was a serial cheater who only cared about his own pleasure and I was just a naive inexperienced idiot who didn't know better XD

Thank you! But tbf, religious belief is prob a strong factor in my culture. It kinda depends on how people perceive it, but for me who's quite religious myself, I'm happy with the way it is in my country. Although I wish sex isn't a taboo thing to talk about here.

yh I kinda figured that was the case :) religion can very much dictate how ppl view sex and relationships. dude I wish somehow religion and sex could coexist more harmoniously it's not exactly good for ppl to be unable to talk about it since sex is such an integral part of life... it is the life giving act after all so why should it be kept a secret? but then you look in some cultures and it's all sex talk and it's quite worrisome how out hand things can get I wish somehow there could a balance between the two extremes and we could all just coexist peacefully and have sex responsibly and talk about it without worrying and not get pressured into it and so on…
