i rly like how there's some small things in kay's behavior that makes it obvious he has at least some romantic feelings for zigril. these last two chapters were the most obvious with it, with him not being fully happy with the idea of being let go and him suddenly being turned off when he thinks abt zigril sleeping with a woman. it's not super in your face about it, i rly like it
i feel like Jaeseung having such intense feelings for him came out of nowhere. i mean, i get that he liked him, he probably did back in high school and those feelings never rly went away, but i don't feel like it rly built up to him blowing up the way he just did. it felt random asfk to me
It's subtle but i dont think it's abrupt at all! I wrote more about it here https://www.mangago.me/home/mangatopic/22345496/

Everyone's crying about how sweet and emotional this was so maybe I'm just heartless, but everything moved too quickly for me to get invested. I feel like Yiyeong fell in love out of nowhere. I also feel like him crying at being asked to hurt Taerim came out of nowhere—to me, that scene read like a man who was pushed to his limits and did more than he was comfortable with for too long . . . But like . . . That was the first time Taerim asked to get choked, wasn't it? They fucked rough but it didn't really push any boundaries. And unless I missed a scene, I don't think Yiyeong found out that Taerim was getting abused by his brother either and yet he's able to somehow just inherently know the functions of Taerim's mind. There's no reason for him not to think Taerim ain't just kinky. The whole "But you don't love yourself" breakdown felt kinda unearned, narratively speaking
