i feel like the author wanted to make it longer just by how the story started, not sure but im 99,9% sure the soldier that the omega met was ml but the plot with that was dropped, maybe it will be mentioned in a bonus chapters if the author decides to make that

now that it ended... i really dont see the point of that rape plot that mf should be in JAIL it was so random and it ended so randomly, id have enjoyed it more without that plot it really wasnt needed

It's not! Season 3 is supposed to be back soon to my knowledge (though correct me if wrong), I think those side stories are just an in between until they finalize everything with season 3
