I usually can gain some type of idea on how a story will progress based on certain elements but I genuinely have no idea how things are going to be moving forward. I appericate the fact the Jun decided he wanted to put an end to things and I felt as though that's something incredibly realistic in a way? I'm fascinated to see where this will progress.
I think the point of this chapter was to provide context how our the ML is. How hes lived his life and how if anything he's the exact opposite of what a typical rich kid would be like. How hes genuinely in love with her and he doesn't have any other intention. I think his bodyguard is also providing context on not knowing what his father wants from him. Whether he despises his son or whether he wants his son to be controlled. I honestly think the bodyguard was trying to buy him time from his father since he doesn't know what his father's intention is. Maybe his father depises him so much he doesn't even want him to live a fulfilling life and to experience love which is why everything for the ML is temporary and why he's indifferent to everything. The body guard mentions that saying how he knows he'll lose in the end if he even forms a small attachment to someone. Im GUESSING his father genuinely wants him to suffer and not to experince anything good. A husk of a man........but I could be wrong.

I was looking at the earlier chapters that had flashbacks in it and from what it seems Yeongwons (our cutie) brother beat the shit out of him/threatened him. That's why his mom in the present is hypervigilant about him and paid a settlement of some sort to get her son out of trouble. That's the vibe I'm getting. I think our bby was severely traumatized because he takes anti anxiety meds so I think it was probably really bad/fucked up. That's probably why he moved away deadass.
As someone with PTSD, the way they are describing it is so accurate. You legit fear leaving ur home and sometimes you need to stay near someone constantly to feel safe. At times random things with no correlation will trigger you. He breaks my heart. My SHAYLAAA

As much as I adore them and there dynamic, in reality being soooo different would create so much friction and tension in the relationship. I'm a firm believer that love is not enough at times and you require some form of similarities to make a relationship work. In psychology there's the 30-70 ratio which is 70- similiar 30-different, vice versa for the optimal relationship. I might be being negative but I don't think the marriage would last long and would probably follow suit to the past UNLESS they are willing to change elements of their personalities to make the relationship work long term.
i agree, & i do believe they're willing to change considering this whole manhwa was about realising your mistakes & differences, finding middle grounds in many, accepting some as is, & discussing which is the better way to move forward for others. i think they'll be okay in the long-run if they keep up with what this manhwa stood for
