same, but for me I've been intensively logging in every day since around 2019 even tho I made this account in 2017. Sometimes I wonder whether it's okay to log in every day and I wonder if someday I'll stop visiting this site (●￣(ｴ)￣●)

I ever got my account banned from commenting, I emailed them, and a few days after that my account got unbanned so at least they don't ignore us completely
It's true that some issues take a long time to be fixed, but to me when i compare this site to other websites it's just so much better

So, I'm a 16 year old girl & I love anime and manga. when I first entered this world (6+ years ago) I kept it a secret from my parents, as in if i was reading a manga or watching an anime and they come near me I pretend to be doing something else and that worked for a couple of years but they later got suspicious so I no longer hid it from them. At first they didn't say anything but when my mum learnt that I watched animes that have fighting in them she concluded that that was the reason behind my words and actions (as in when fighting with my brother, if i pretend to throw a punch in an "unusual way" it was affected by what I watch) and so a few weeks ago she told me not to watch one piece (my love) by pointing on a picture i had printed of ace & luffy (the picture she saw might've made her think that they're gay and she's homophobic and she's like somethings are not socially approved or something as she was pointing to the picture) and after a few days i was reading a manga on my laptop and she passed behind me and was like didn't i tell you to stop watching this? so i replied that this is different (as in this is not one piece). so i think that she might mean that i have to stop reading anime AND manga (nope not happening sorry mum) anyways how am i supposed to convince her that my actions aren't affected by anime and to get her to let me continue my current lifestyle aka wake up read manga/ watch anime sleep. I'm sorry there is a lot of information to process but this is not detailed i skipped some events but that would make this so long. anyways any suggestions?

There really isn't anything you can do. I've tried convincing me mum, who is basically the exact same as yours, but she still gets annoyed and angry when she sees me readin/watching anime and manga. So yeah, just try to hide it from them.
