In case you don't remember, here's a summary of the story. The MC is a transmigrator who got isekai into a Wu Xia web novel. He is currently occupying the character Dong Fang Xian Yun (Black Hair Dude) who is the Senior Student of Carefree Sect. But since the MC is a coward who is only interested in surviving, he didn't play his role as the Senior Student at all and just did whatever he want to survive. He even went as far as to cling onto his Junior, Yin Fei Xing (White Hair Dude), legs because he thought that Fei Xing was the protagonist of the story.
Turns out, Fei Xing is not the protagonist at all and is actually someone who will turn into a villain in the future. To make matters worse, Fei Xing is actually the reincarnation of the villain and retains all his memories of becoming a villain. Fei Xing then reveal that the real protagonist of the story is Xian Yun. Since Xian Yun was the one who killed Fei Xing in the future, Fei Xing is hell bent on forcing Xian Yun into the villain route this time around so he can take the protagonist role for himself. Unfortunately for Fei Xing, he was not destined to become the protagonist and all his effort eventually fail and he fell back to his villain role in the end.
As for the MC, he messed up the story so badly that he manage to derail Xian Yun's character off the fated path of the protagonist. Which is why Suan Tian (Purple Hair Girl) is trying her best to put the MC back on track because she is Fate's Envoy. Note here that Suan Tian is also occupy by a transmigrator so she too knows that they're in a web novel and not the real world. Unfortunately for the MC, however, the person occupying Suan Tian's body is a huge fujoshi who ship the MC with almost every male character in the story.
Ultimately, the goal of the MC is to save all the people he cares about. A hard task to do since some of the people he cares about now belongs to an Evil Sect and there is an ongoing war between the Righteous Factions and the Evil Sects. Not to mention the politics, rivalry, and back stabbing that exist within the Righteous Factions themselves. And there is the fact that their junior Xiao Yao Xing He (Blue Hair Girl) is actually cursed by a demon. While on their way to get the cure for Xing He, they are attacked by a powerful Evil Sect member who used to be a Senior in the Righteous Faction. And that is where our story left off.
Holy shit. Duekpal is a straight man. No wonder he's so oblivious to Sekyung's advances towards him. To him, Sekyung's actions is the equivalent of a teenage boy messing with his friend. The thought of them having romantic feelings towards him didn't even crossed his mind. The ironic thing is that he's inside the body of a gay boy. Even though his mind is an adult, his body is still that of a teen boy. And during your teens, you are hypersexualized.
Well, true... Of all the characters in this manhwa, I like Jaemin the most; yes, he's a total jerk, and he did something really terrible in the past, but I'm poor him☹
It is hard to be the adult. To be the mature one who puts aside your own desire and emotions in order to do what's best. All the teenage angst and insecurities people feel growing up are like mosquito bites compare to the real world. A world where being accepted and being liked is the least of your worries. Starvation, hunger, homelessness, and death. Duekpal knows all of that. Which is why he's putting aside all the petty motions to be the bigger man. Even if it means finishing last.

Duekpal is seriously as dense as your typical Shounen MC. He can't even tell that he's literaly rizzing.
Even if one of them confess their love to the other person, I don't think the other person would actually believe it. That's because the both of them don't actually know each other well enough to trust the other person. After all, their love is born through their own personal longing for each other and not because of their relationship. That is why their bond is so fragile because the thing that connects them isn't trust but longing. That lack of trust is why they are so wary of the other person. A trust that they will have to develope in time and through shared hardship.
It's funny really. So many people were against Duekpal ending up with one of the love interests but now they're saying the love interests doesn't deserve Deukpal.
Every time the Prince and Fran interact with each other, it is always pure gold.
